I hear from everywhere that there is a size loss associated with the implant. I am trying to understand exactly what that means. One scenario is the guy who has not had an erection in years, gets the implant, and it is 1 - 1.5 inches shorter that he remembers it being years ago. However, what about someone who gets a certain length with injections or VED and is using them regularly up until the surgery. Is there a loss of length from the VED or injection size erection?
Also, if I have erection inadequate for sex but my glans becomes engorged, will it continue to become equally engorged with the implant?
Many thanks.
Size Loss with Implant Question
Re: Size Loss with Implant Question
I lost about 2 inches in length and almost an inch in girth. But most guys lose less than I did. It is obvious my physiciam somehow measured wrong. I should have had a better fit.
As to the glans....the implant does not inflate the glans when you inflate your shaft. However your glans may inflate some on its own when you are turned on. I sometimes awake with a glans "chubb" or "semi." Some guys use a vacuum pump before sex..masturbation..to inflate the glans so sex/masturbation is better.
Here are some pics of my implant.

Re: Size Loss with Implant Question
I lost no length from my implant and I gained some girth. I lost length prior to my implant because of many priapisms and the last one I had I was unable to have an erection which caused length loss. So for 10 months, I was losing length
If your surgeon is dilating your corpora correctly and measuring correctly, you shouldn't see any loss in length from your flaccid stretch length prior to surgery. What you lose because of your inability to get hard causing the reduction in elasticity, is out of the doctors hands. If you are lucky enough to be able to achieve some sort of an erection, then you should have a good outcome.
My glans still engorge with the implant. I seem to have more control now though so I can last as long as I want. Sensitivity in the glans is the same as before surgery.
