Lost Sheep, I have a AMS LGX (2 years out from implant) and if memory serves me my Dr. left me with about 15% inflation. I was left that way for about 6 weeks. Driving or walking was no problem for me. Once the swelling went down (at about 1 week) and I was not too sore to do so I wore it in an upward pointing possition. It sounds like I am built about the same as you. Oh, I don't remember urination being a problem either.
I still sometimes get a little residual erection too. Again, not a problem. I am in agreement with most of the rest here. Not to worry. I might add that sometimes when I get this "residual" effect it is partially because I failed to completely deflate after using my tool. Hope this helps.

Thanks, it does help. But I was inclined to ask my surgeon to leave me more inflated. I have read that scar tissue tends to form around the implant, encapsulating it and making it necessary to break up the scar tissue to achieve maximum/optimal inflation/erection. This can be uncomfortable/painful, depending on numerous factors. What did your experience tell you about that?

Yet when I stand some stiffness returns, so I get 10% stiffness.
Its quite painful to walk with 10% stiffness.
Is this normal to get residual stiffness when standing, yet when sitting or lying down it returns to 0% stiffness?
Apparently so.JDavid wrote:Some autoinflation is not unusual early in the recovery period. (edited for brevity)
This passage, I excerpted from an article I found at:
http://pmj.bmj.com/content/76/891/22.full
patients must be aware of the likelihood of auto-inflation during the first three months. This occurs because the intra-abdominal reservoir is compressed by intra-abdominal pressure, forcing fluid into the cylinders. After 3 months a fibrous capsule has usually formed around the reservoir, which prevents transmission of abdominal pressure, so it is important in this early period to ensure that the reservoir remains at its maximal capacity.
(Suppositions on my part: The lockout valve may or may not reliably prevent this, and may "settle in" after a time or the reservoir may be being compressed when you stand, but not so much when you lay down. Gravity may have an influence, too. The good news is that this self-inflation reportedly usually abates after a while. )

Lost Sheep,
I guess you pretty much put words and theory behind my post in viewtopic.php?f=6&t=6887.
This very much describe my experience, where I used to have some sort of auto inflation in the early stages, but never nowadays.

Lost Sheep,
Not all Dr's protocols are the same. If you are left partially inflated, as I was. Larger size pleated dress pants and long untucked shirt is recommended. It will be uncomfortable but bearable. Check out my threads. I tried really 'hard' to be as frank as possible,

Re: Semi erect when standing?
My urologist kept it 1/3 to 1/2 inflated for at least 2 -4 weeks. It's the best position to keep the tubes somewhat filled to keep the penis cavity from scarring to a smaller cavity; and the same for the reservoir cavity.
