My pump doesn't hang all the way low in my scrotum. It hangs a bit up and to my left. I am experiencing some of the same symptoms you are. I have sensitivity at the top of the deflate button on the left side. Dr. Kramer isn't worried about it until four weeks and I'm only at about 18 days right now.
I too was wondering if the tenderness goes away. I can feel slight pain when I pull down on the pump (twice a day), but I don't ever pull hard enough to cause real pain. I wouldn't want to break the device. I can't tell that the pump is really getting any lower, but maybe this keeps it from creeping up higher. Anyway, I've always been one to follow doctor's orders after surgery so I'm doing that.
Hopefully, we will both come out ok.

Rev. JB ,
My urologist told me to pull down on my pump too. After the swelling went down it dropped to the bottom of my scrotum. He said the rear tip extenders he installed help the pump to hang lower. I'm sure everything will be great once the swelling goes down. Keep healing my friend,
Rev. Donnie.

I wish you were right, Rev. Donnie. I've been pulling down for 20 days and it hasn't lowered at all. Dr. Kramer told me that it would (could) lower after a while, but I really didn't have any noticeable swelling. At least I didn't have the hematoma the other guys talk about. My scrotum never swelled up at all.
Now, maybe there's internal swelling that I don't know about, but it just feels tender in there where the deflate valve is. I guess we'll see on activation day.
