Regaining length in 6 months?

So apparently you lose length, then regain it in 6 months?

Sorry for all the questions, I'm just wanting to do all the research I can.

I infer from what I've seen guys on this site say and from what my doctor says that it takes about six months to get your full length. Most everyone talks of cycling twice a day starting at the 4-week point. This cycling stretches the penis and I'm sure helps prevent scar tissue from building up. Most doctors allow sex at the 6-8 week point, and some earlier. It is a bit individual. Depending on your level of discomfort in stretching I would guess the initiation of sex varies. I'm experiencing some pain since I started aggressively cycling, so sex to me is not on the plate at the moment.
