Each man is different in which type of implant is best. I was told that the two piece would be best for me due to scarring after prior surgery. There are many reasons why a certain implant is best for you. I also believe that was the right decision or me. I was left partially inflated after surgery and if that is any measure of how hard this will be after inflating at activation, I am more than satisfied with the two piece. I can hang a towel on it now. Good luck in whatever you decide. But I believe you should go with your doctors recommendation.

Did you lose any erect length?
Implanted by Dr. Andrew Kramer 2/22/17. 18 cm AMS LGX with 2 cm RTE's (total 20cm).

Activated 3/11/17. Best decision I've ever made.

Richard,
Unless there are previous conditions (peyronies, curvature, injury or atrophy),
with a great surgeon, you should not lose length but it may take a year to attain full pre-op length. ;) There are no guarantees in life. With any surgery there is risk. For me there was no choice. I now have a 'bionic' erection anytime for as long as necessary. 8-)
Implant AMS 700 CX, MS (18cm x 12mm with 5.5cm RTEs) on 10\4\16. 64 Dr. Edward Kata of Orlando. Awesome surgeon. Check out, 'DD Bryan. My implant journey, Wit and Wisdom, Stretching routine, Implant Pics, Natural Hang. Live in Ga.
