Yes, his office does take BCBS.

I am from Kentucky and he was on my "in network" list, so I contacted his office and she explained that they have a hard time with BCBS and I probably wasn't going to be covered. But I persisted with Connie and Tikka. Tikka works with insurance. She emailed me that I'd be out of network and told me about all these costs I would have.

I just hung in there and got her to submit me normally for pre-certification. I had worked closely enough with BCBS where I KNEW I'd be covered. and I was.

Had my surgery there and the rest is history.

Thanks for posting this. I was looking in my "penis implant file" this morning trying to find my notes where I had conversed with Kramer and the phone number and name he gave me for the gal who does preauthorizations. I could not find it. Likely were on the hard drive I dropped and broke.

Thanks. I did an on line search for Kramer's number yesterday and I kept getting boxes that said "sorry for the inconvenience, please use this number for the University of Maryland medical center at the present time" but the number was just for an appointment service.
