Seems to me that nobody is answering the real question that I think you are asking.

I was initially implanted with AMS but had major problems soon after.
Had a revision by another doctor.

We had a meeting in his office where he discussed whether I wanted another AMS or a switch to Coloplast.
He 'clearly' explained to me that over initial time post-surgery with frequent inflation,
- the AMS is built so that it may well expand in length, possibly up to but not exceeding pre-surgery length. However the girth will not change dramatically and is fairly small.
- the Coloplast is built that it is very unlikely to expand in length once implanted, but the girth can grow as much as you have to offer it.

I went Coloplast to get the Girth increase.
Sure enough, as far as length I am a Shower rather than Grower (Flaccid about same as Erect in Length and has not changed since surgery, BUT my Girth grows with Inflation)
