Actually my pre-surgery reading indicated that there was no loss of sensation. The story I heard was "If you can climax prior to the surgery you will be able to climax after the surgery.

If you had your implant by the infrapubic method there is some risk of loss of sensation if the dorsal nerve to the penis is damaged during surgery. The risk is greatly reduced with a penal/scrotal approach as the nerve is well out of the way of the surgery site.

I do understand why you might have great success with masturbation and not intercourse. In my case my shaft is not particularly sensitive (wasn't before surgery) and the whole glans was also not particularly sensitive and while I could achieve orgasm with intercourse, it was sometimes not the best it could be. However, my frenulum is very sensitive and is the area that I concentrate on while masturbating and likely what you favour when coming in 60 seconds.

The very best intercourse position for me is doggy style because my wife's pubic bone puts pressure on the frenulum and results in great orgasms. Missionary position is not so great, cowgirl works well enough. Experiment with positions, partner willing, to find different positions that put some pressure on your frenulum and you might get some relief from your problem. Also, look up frenulum prepuce in Wikipedia and particularly read the sensitivity section. I know this is pretty graphic, but it might help explain your dilemma. This is Franktalk

About not achieving a hard penis with your implant, if that is the case you need to see a man (or woman to be PC) about your dick. It is not functioning properly. A properly working implant is capable of giving you an erection harder than anything you would have experienced when the thing functioned on its own, every time.

That's so true. 'Doggy Style' orgasms are OMG............. intense. Infra pubic and no loss in sensation whatsoever! . Masturbation does't 'come' close. If your not stiff with an implant somethings wrong.
