Just wanted to say thanks for all of the info so far guys! I really didn't expect this much attention on the first day. Most likely I'll end up turning this into a log about the whole process.

Got a call today from the Coloplast rep. I'm metting with him on Monday to see how it looks, discuss, etc. Hoping to get in the operating room within the next 4 weeks!

OK, here's my 2 cents worth. Mike, you are about the same size as I am, within 1/4" in both directions. I have the LGX, and I love it, no regrets. Guys that are much larger than us may have an issue getting an LGX large enough, most titans are in guys who are larger or have peyronies.

The one unique thing about the LGX is that it will shrink in length when you deflate. You may not think much about that now, but trust me, I was getting mighty concerned that this thing was always poking out. It has since "broken in" and gets more flexible and shorter than it did a few weeks post surgery. I have my story and pictures posted, see "lgx log".

One other comment, it won't bend like it does now. Think about walking around with about a 50 to 75% erection, that's how my LGX is, the CX will be longer, the Titan will be longer and stiffer.

I'll be glad to hook up on camera with you. Just give me a private message and I'll give you my phone number and we can get together. If you're in Michigan, we can skip the camera!

You're going to have this a long time, be comfortable with your decision.

What size is determined as "long". I have a Titan and im around 5'', so Titans are not just for the bigger guys. The Titan also goes completely flat so no sticking out any more than a normal guy would. If he has the same young active lifestyle as I do, walking around with a 50-75% would be a total nightmare. Wearing compression shorts or doing something like playing hockey would be extremely uncomfortable if I had any sort of erection from my implant. I am confused how the titan will be stiffer on that note.

My NYC Doctor recommended the Titan due to scarring from Peyronies. I asked him about the LGX because it seems to be very popular on this site and everyone has been happy with it. I want to be happy, but he flatly came out saying the Titan is the product for you. Apparently, the doctor having done so many of these procedures is aware of all the variables and has to do what is best for the individual. I will leave it up to him but it doesn't hurt to investigate, research and get personal reactions of individuals who are actively using the implants.

I am happy to hear that "quote Minnesota" everything swings properly and it makes me feel more comfortable with my doctors recommendation. Hoping all goes well for you.

Minnesota - you are misquoting me. If I say the sun is shining in the east, it must be morning, you can't turn it around and say if it's morning, the sun must be shining in the east. I stated most titans are used on guys with peyronies or who are more endowed. I stand by that statement just based on what we read here, and also listening to Dr. Eid's videos, he flat out says the titan is a better choice for men with larger penises. That no way implies that a titan only works for guys with large penises. I have read about at least one guy who was larger and wanted an LGX who had his doc recommend the titan, feeling it was a better application for larger men.

Now, regarding stiffness and size. I think everyone with an implant will admit that they are now longer flacid than before surgery, maybe as long as what they were half or 3/4 hard before? I know I am. I'm told the LGX is the only one that shrinks in length when deflated. I only have what other's have told me and Dr. Eid to reference on that, he states the titan will swell and get rigid, but the length really doesn't change when inflated.

I also think everyone with an implant will tell you it is not as flexible limp as pre surgery, and that the limp girth is more than pre surgery. Maybe like before with a 1/2 woody? My point is, your flacid penis will be longer, less flexible, and somewhat thicker than it was before the implant. My guess is about what it was before when you were 1/2 or 3/4 hard. I took the pictures to back that up, they're posted in this forum. Dr. Eid also talks about the ruggedness of the titan and the fact that it is not as flexible as the competition.

Maybe Minnesota was a "shower" before the implant. They say some guys are showers, they have most of their erect size when flacid. Others are growers, being small when flacid and growing considerable during an erection. My implant turned me from a grower to a shower, and it was a bit uncomfortable for me to get used to. My wife even comments now about me being "hung". I believe my comments fall in line with the majority of the "bionic" guys comments. There are always exceptions.

Good luck! Dave

The point that I wanted to get across is to make sure that Titans do not get the reputation of only being with the larger male or with those who have suffered Peyronies and if i did misunderstand your first post Dave, im sorry. I actually was born with ED so no, I was nothing near a shower prior to implant. Actually the opposite. Due to all of the tests and a bad reaction to the injection theorpy, I was actually shrinking through the months of summer before my surgery.

Hey Dave, I’ll just jump in here for a second. I read somewhere (maybe on the AMS or Coloplast pages) that after the implant your penis doesn’t “turtle”, it doesn’t withdraw into the body, as much so appears to be longer when flaccid. It looks like I’ll be able to speak from experience in about a month or so.
