I read in some webs that the latest implants have a half-life of 15-20 years..
I always had read than they would be 15 years in the best case.
If well noone can say with security if it is true or not, because these places are refeiring to the most recents implant how they say, i dont believe it. I dont think that the implants have had many improves in the last five years which allow that they are more durable.
What do you think about this?

I cannot imagine that the manufacturers and maybe even some Doctors are not keeping records on what modes of failure are most common. To not keep statistics on that is negligent on the part of the manufacturers, in my opinion.

But no one is talking.

If car manufacturers were as close-mouthed ...

I have read a guy, here in FT who said that the implant will last 10 years if you use it one time per week (he said this was said by Dr Eid) This is so really?
Because if i would get an implant i would use it many days in the week surely.. It only would last three years? In that case i would need a lot of revisions..

The quote I heard was that Dr. Kramer said an implant used once a week would last 20 years. But I cannot verify that.
62 years old. ED for years. High BP and meds have done me in. AMS 700 CX /3.0 cm RTE Implanted by Andrew Kramer on 10/12/16. Involved revision to relocate tubes and pump performed 12/29/16 by Dr. Knoll of Nashville, TN.

If I pump up my dick only 1 time a week, what am I going to do with my hands?
LGX 21cm .Milam 01/13/16. Horror; both service and surgical outcome. hated infrapubic installation. Kramer revision 03/01/17. 22cm Titan +1.5cm extender. Those who think their opinion is the only one that matters are a danger to themselves and others.

I want to pump it 7 times per day.
Implanted by Dr. Andrew Kramer 2/22/17. 18 cm AMS LGX with 2 cm RTE's (total 20cm).

Activated 3/11/17. Best decision I've ever made.

Well,

I'm not sure how long my implant will last, but it seems to me all that pressure on the bulb could wear it out after a while. I'm not really sure what part of an implant usually fails first, but I'm not going to worry about it. Medicare pays for implants, Yay!
