How long after surgery before you could fly home. I need to get an estimate on hotel fees and thought I would try to fly home after revision in 3-4 days after. Can anyone tell me their timeline from the day of the revision until they were able to fly home without a lot of discomfort. Baltimore to New Orleans direct is over a 5 hour flight, so would want to make sure it was doable.

For the original procedure, you get it done on a Wednesday, sit/stay in bed with your feet/scrotum elevated Wed.-Fri., then you're cleared to travel on Saturday. Can't speak for an involved revision...ask williamb...had a revision done the same day I had my first-time procedure...

I have a revision coming up. I was told to plan on release to fly Saturday so my room and flight is booked accordingly. Flight is 4 hrs 43 minutes and an hour layover in Detroit.

I just spoke with Dr. Kramer this evening and sent him pictures of my problem. I think he is a real good guy and really has compassion for us that got bad results. I hope he decides to fix me, if not he recommends someone competent in my area he feels can fix.

He is very responsive. Emails sometimes take a little bit if his computer eats them but he always responds. Answers his phone like a gentleman too. No run around bullshit. Makes a person wonder if he is really a urologist.
