No change at all for me.

Took forever (at least 5 months) to fully heal from implant surgery and regain semblance of normalcy. Alas, no sensitivity or very little in penis. Appeared this aspect of recovery might take even longer. ENTER: the P shot (plasma rich platelet, or PRP). This is amazing. Before the shot, glans felt almost dead and cold; what little sensitivity there was --enough to orgasm but with great difficulty -- resided in the base of the penis. Almost immediatey after P shot, the glans awoke and today orgasms are almost like before surgery, and the glans is the nerve center.
Just google P shot and Dr. Runels, its founder, explains it all. Basically, patient's own blood is withdrawn, placed in centrifuge and separated, proper component re-injected, the growth factors in the platelets go to work and rejuvenate sensitivity in the penile tissues. My surgeon and P Shot practitioner is Dr. John Grimaldi (nr San DiegoCA).

Must clarify that the platelet injection is in the penile tissues, the original blood draw is done traditionally from the arm. Penis, of course, is covered with anesthetic beforehand and there is absolutely no discomfort. Procedure takes minutes, in and out of dr's office in 30 minutes with most of the time waiting for the centrifuge to separate the blood. Costs: apprx $1500.

No change for me either. But I have heard some guys say that stimulation (and orgasm) feel better with a hard dick than with a soft one.

what seamus wrote scares the crap out of me

I hope I can orgasm with an implant. I don't buy that the procedure he is suggesting would (long term) help. I mean, if you can't orgasm with an implant and start injecting stuff maybe it would work for a year, or two but what about for young guys - what about in 10, 20 years? Sounds like the outcome might be similar to viagra, etc. - I'd be scared to go from worrying about whether I can get an erection to worrying about whether I get an orgasms heh

this is a good thread/question that I'm still concerned about, more than anything

hope you're doing well seamus

Sensitivity was screwed up initially, but sensitivity for me is exactly the same as before after about three months.

thanks for funny9097 critique....have to clear the air on this particular issue. BTW, i had my implant in September, 2016, 3 mos prior to my 80th birthday....so my perspective does not necessarily have a 20 yr old in mind.
1. I never said or suggested this was a permanent fix to the senstiivity question. Rather, i merely said I I had a problem, now I don't, and I think the P shot had something to do with the fix.
2. There is absolutely no down side to this solution. The "stuff" being injected into your penis is your own blood. It is not treated other than an isolation of growth factors (these are your own hormones, I believe) in your blood serum. It isa form of stem cell therapy.
3. Dr. Runels clearly provides that the procedure may need to be repeated after several months and that permanent rejuvenation is not guaranteed. But, all the while your penile tissues are growing and repairing. I expect over time the sensitivity issue will disappear whether from your own cells, the P shot, or both. It's a win, win!
4. You'll love this: some patients have reported penile lengthening.

This is a very interesting issue. Hope others jump in...

Sensitivity is the same but orgasm more intense. Intercourse is much easier with a hard dick. You don't have to pack it in. Lol.
