Note, in the setting of hernia surgery, etc, placing the reservoirs in an "ectopic reservoir location" is a thing that some implant surgeons do.

Had to look that word up. Looks like the location is a lot higher up in the abdomin than where they normally place the reservoir.

Sliphill....best of luck!! Surgeon told me I'd be sorry for a month or so, then very happy. I have not been sorry once since coming out of anesthesia 10 days ago. Just sorry I waited this long. Life is good, and you will be, too

Oh, and I asked the doctor about the swollen vein just below the corona. He told me that it was a thrombosis vein. It is swollen and hard. He said it would eventually go away. I got it after injecting about two weeks ago. He told me no more injections.

Best of luck Ed. Things will be fine. Im on day 9 of my recovery. Also implanted with the LGX. Looking forward to the future. Small price to pay to get your life back. Advice is rest, rest & more rest. The few days i felt any pain were my own fault. Being antsy & trying to be moble.
