I have the Lgx 700, activated on 10/25/11 It seems when I get completely pumped, that the top of the pump is right at the base of the penis, making the deflate button very difficult to reach. I have pulled down on the pump from the very first day I was able to do so. Will it move down slightly with repeated pulling? The wife can feel the pump when I stroke deeply, and it gets very sore on me also.
Thanks guys!

Re: Pump location
Sounds like it is too high and you are doing what they say, pull it down. Since you will have to live with the results a long time, maybe try to step up your pulling down, more often and harder? I never had to pull mine but plently other here had to.

Re: Pump location
Am I reading correctly that you are having sex six days after your implant?

Re: Pump location
No way, surgery was 9/1/11, official activation was 10/25/11.
Re: Pump location
My pump started slightly higher as well, but after alot of use it has settled lower and now sits evenly with everything else. Things could settle more as time goes on, but i would say keep trying to pull down (gently) and massage the area.

Re: Pump location
From what I'm noticing, and correct me if I'm wrong...
Does it seem that men who's doctors have used the infrabubic approach have a harder time pulling their pump down than guys who have it done through the scrotal approach? Mine was done pubic and I had a heck of a time pulling it down.
I'd love to hear what others think of this notion as I'm just wondering.

Re: Pump location
I don't have an implant, yet, so I can't speak from experience. However, in reading Dr Eid's website, which IMHO is the best doctor website covering implants, he specifically cites one advantage of the scrotal approach being better and lower placement of the pump.

Re: Pump location
I'm guessing there are too many individual variables with each patient and each doctor. If I could pick they type of approach, I would request the pubic. I've had my scrotum chopped up twice now, and my personal finding seem to indicate the people who had the pubic approach are more satisfied with the end result. My research is by no means scientific and could well be wrong, but I wish mine had been pubic.
I have to constantly pull mine down because it just won't stay put (I had scrotal). The top of the pump valve / tubes rub aggressively against the bottom of my penile shaft and cause much pain. After pulling it down and stretching out the tubes a little it feels fine. Maybe more people will respond and we can get a better idea.
