Never had ANY problem takin a piss not even a day or 3 immediately after surgery. I was cath'd anyway so docs and nurses could see exactly how I was functioning before removing my cath. But I do KNOW what not bein able to piss is like: LYRICA!!!! And it SUCKS! I am SHOCKED that drug is still on the Market! But I wasn't on Lyrica for Implant Surgery. No need for it. But years prior tried it for neuropothy and yes, I stopped me being able to piss for THREE days....but with my implant all new from surgery,,, never had ANY trouble pissing!

The only warning I give guys, I've given before on the site... IF you own a dog; or two; or more.... and those dogs LOVE to run across your lap, digging their paws into your crotch every time they hear anything that even remotely reminds them of your doorbell... You, my friend, need to buy a new jockstrap and cup!! Unless of course your wife and kids love hearing you sound like Alvin and the Chipmunks while you curl up into the fetal position, gently caressing your jewels and telling them they'll "be alright" ... maybe soon!

Seriously... a cup that covers more of a massive area, available from Amazon... called the Nutty Buddy. The Compression Short Version I find the MOST comfortable... no actual straps when ya don't need 'em! AND HONESTLY COMFORTABLE!! (Peace of Mind too! If you're napping in a recliner, which you just might do a little more than usual, and your dogs hear better and are quicker than you are, it's nice to know you're protected down there!

No doctor told me to get a cup supporter lined up for when I came home from the hospital. It only took ONE leap from 30 lb. Opie for me to learn I NEEDED this!!!!
