That is possible; But......
I know I first started researching E.D. and ways to deal with it in the 1980's when Compuserve became available. This was the era of our second computer which was a Unisys a company which became a part of Sperry Rand. The internet ( though it really was not referred to it then was SLOW. So slow that I would set the computer to do a task, go get something to eat, eat it, then check to see if it was done yet. I would not have spent the time to research what is now considered quack cures if there had been no problem to start with. Quack cures were what really were suggested then. Muse was not approved till 1996. Viagra was 1998 if I remember correctly. Muse was the first pharmacological I used. I really think that is often the case with many that they research a problem that already exists. Too often I talk to guys here very much in despair because things just plain old do not work most of the time. Why search for a fix for something that is not a problem?
LGX 21cm .Milam 01/13/16. Horror; both service and surgical outcome. hated infrapubic installation. Kramer revision 03/01/17. 22cm Titan +1.5cm extender. Those who think their opinion is the only one that matters are a danger to themselves and others.

This is just my opinion, no science to it, but I think the young men are just less afraid to talk about it, or to seek treatment. The perceived shame of having ED has lessened a lot, and the hope of treatment has become a lot more well known. It started with Viagra, and grew from there.

this is my opinion (also, no science or studies to it)

In the old days, before everyone turned to the internet to share their medical woes and solutions, we all suffered in silence.

If you had ED, maybe, you told your doctor about it; but if you were young, likely you just suffered in silence and became depressed.

Now, in the information age, everybody has access to stories about solutions such as pills, injections, implants; and all the informed patients seek out solutions which have been proven in scientific literature (and hopefully steer away from solutions which have been shown in good scientific papers to be not helpful)

Young men especially use the internet, so I think that the incidence of young males with ED likely has always been there, but we now have the ability to not suffer in silence but to suffer and commissurate in anononymity through the internet and through dscussions groups such as franktalk.
