What if Implants fail?

Postby brickman » Thu Nov 10, 2011 7:43 pm

Hello,
I'm a newbie and was wondering what happens if the Implant fails(mechanical failure) after a few years. Is it very complicated to replace it? Do you get back full function that you probably had before failure?

It's generally just replaced and works like new once done.

Right. What Hard Drive said! There is a bit of pain associated because the scar tissue has all filled in. My doctor told me that a replacement might be a bit shorter as well, because of the scar tissue. However, one will be used to having all of this equipment in his scrotum and penis so that learning curve will not be a problem the second (or third or fourth) time around
