Yah, I kind of wonder that myself. I was implanted almost 2 and 1/2 years ago and my prostate is enlarged. PSA's have been ok but prostate problems run in my family. My URO doesn't seem concerned so I kind of forget about it most of the time. I do wonder though.

Has anyone know the answer to my question ? I worry about it . I don't want anything else to postpone the surgery.

If you don't have reason to expect prostate surgery in the near future, I would suggest not borrowing trouble, but address any issues that MIGHT come up only when they DO come up.

It is wise to be prepared and informed, but not to the point of paralysis.

Don't wait and don't worry.

Have the implant and deal with the prostate problems if the happen. If you get prostate cancer they will probably not be going near your implant. Prostate Cancer kills, a screwed up implant can be fixed. Best of luck my Bionic Brother to be.

Piddlin has the right idea here. If you get the penile implant procedure and then further down the line you develop prostate problems, we would just deal with it. The Ipp (inflatable penile prosthesis) doesn't prevent any prostate problems, but it also doesn't cause any prostate issues either. Hope that helps to ease your mind!

Having, like many of you, had a RP lead me to an implant, I believe you could have a RP without disturbing your implant. They are separate (I think).

If you got 1, 2, 5...?...years of fucking that you would have missed, you'd be WAY ahead.

Go for it and good luck!

My radiation treatment for prostate cancer made my venous leakage worse. I think it killed my prostate. My orgasms are intense but I ejaculate dry. No messy clean up! It may return but I doubt it. If it doesn't, not a problem.
