Motorcycling - Bicycling after implant
Motorcycling - Bicycling after implant
Are either of these activities still possible after implant surgery? My normal bicycle ride is approx 20 miles, a few times a week, and motorcycling, mostly day trips, with breaks. Appreciate any comments from folks who do these activities. Thanks in advance, lowrider.
67 yrs old. I have been a Viagra user for at least a dozen yrs or so; have been increasing dosage the last few yrs and only experienced diminishing results.

I don't think motorcycling riding would be an issue. I don't have one, I sold it last year. But I will get another. I have heard that bicycle riding isn't a problem, but I'm afraid to try. I'm all healed and all, but kinda afraid to take the chance with the skinny seat. I'm afraid that with the seat on the bike now, I might put on due pressure on the pump. I have a hybrid and might get one of the big seats for it. I'm sure there will be people who have ridden a bicycle chiming in.

My surgeon told me it is fine but I will want to switch to either a divided seat or one with a hole in the middle.

I am 64 and had ED from a VL. Implanted by Dr. Ronald Anglade in Atlanta on 9/18/17. I have an AMS700LGX 21 cm via a Penoscrotal incision. Very happy with results. 6" soft and 6 3/4” x 5 5/8” hard.

Thank you both. Greg that seat with the slot/hole down the center, looks like a good idea.

Yes, I think so, too. It should be far less pressure on the scrotum and there on the pump.

Re: Motorcycling - Bicycling after implant
I had my implant in January 2017 and I ride 20 miles every day on my bike. I use the SMP like the one pictured. It was uncomfortable at first (6 weeks post op), but now not a problem at all.

Thanks. It is always good to have firsthand confirmation, not just a suggestion for something to try.
