I am fortunate to know that my surgeon is the one that did the surgery. He didn't do the surgery in a teaching hospital and is one of the rising stars of his Urology Associates group practice. He is also skilled as a PC recurrence treatment urologist and that is something that I need to keep handy.

He has done a great job with my initial implant and 4.5 years later with my revision which was just 2 weeks ago. I did not need any pain medication for this recovery. Minor discomfort was the extent of my pain this time, the first time was excellent also.
