1st posting since surgery on Dec 5, 2012

I had my LGX implant done on Dec 5th. It's been 2 weeks. I'm due to see the surgeon tomorrow to activate the pump. I have tried to activate it myself, but the surface of my scrotum on the left side is extremely sensitive and the stitches in the middle of the scrotum front are very stiff. The pump is at the back between the testicles. Several attempts resulted in slipping (ouch). When I thought that I had a good grasp on the pump, I squeezed pretty hard, but NOTHING happened. It just felt like hard rubber (solid) ball. I tried two or three times and I'm thinking that I need to build up my forearm muscles or get a pair of vicegrips.

I have read LGX-Man's latest reprint of a method. I tried to follow that, but still the stinging on the scrotum surface (not where I'm squeezing) does cause me to hesitate. My God, how much pressure must I exert, and how long will it be that difficult?

Well, I went to the doctor to get activated. I heard the "pop" and then he inflated it. I told him about the soreness on the surface of my scrotum, but he didn't seem to think that anything was wrong. Just soreness from the surgery. After he deflated it, he had me pump once or twice and then redeflated it.

Once I got home, I tried to inflate. It did inflate, but I was only able to pump about 2 times. Then it seemed like I couldn't inflate any more. I did this several times with no better luck. It takes some getting used to in order to squeeze a "3rd Ball". The first few times, I was expecting severe discomfort, but as time goes by, I guess that I'll become more proficient AND less sore.

Hey Doleslie I have the same problem with the sore scrotum. I had my surgery Dec 6th 2011. I just went to my two week appointment and I was to sore to pump up. I am scheduled to go back in two weeks. Mine seem to be slowly getting better. Still a little swollen and sore. Today was my best day.

I can relate guys! I had a lot of swelling and inflammation, my doc couldn't find the button to deflate me the day after surgery. I walked around for weeks with a semi boner. Trust me, it gets better. I would encourage you both to inflate twice a day for a while, following the instructions Keith, LGX_Man has published. It will help the penis stretch and become less painful to pressure and also toughen up the scrotum so you can pump easier. If it gets too sore, take a day off to let the inflammation go down and then resume. Ibuprofen was recommended by my uro to reduce inflammation.

I am slowly feeling better and the soreness is subsiding. I have been pumping twice a day for the past 2 days now. The only thing is that it seems as if I'm only able to pump 2 or 3 times and then it's like a brick wall. I do get an erction, but the pump doesn't want to squeeze any more. I will continue to work at it though.

Hi doleslie,

I celebrated the one-year anniversary on December 20 (AMS LGX 700). What you are experiencing is normal. You will hit the 'brick wall' over and over again over the next 12 to 18 months. The only difference is that the wall will get farther away as you heal. You are stretching scar tissue. after a couple of weeks, you will be able to pump up to your 'brick wall' and then press on and take it one step further. When you are doing this, it is good to take ibuprofen an hour or so before. It be uncomfortable. Depending on how you handle the discomfort, hold the one-step beyond inflation for 15--30 minutes. Then do a partial deflate, and do what comes naturally to ease the residual ache as you enjoy the feeling of accomplishment. Inflate twice a day. Push past your brick wall at least once a day.

Thanks Scott for the feedback. I was feeling like my system wasn't working with only a few pumps. I will continue to inflate and utilize your advice in the future.
