coloplast reservoir

Postby nudist » Fri Dec 01, 2017 11:34 am

i am 4 weeks post-op, still 75% inflated, scheduled for activation dec 13.
yesterday i noticed a new discomfort and a burning feeling at the bottom of the reservoir in my abdomen. i was a little more active than usual yesterday. today, when up and moving around, it is a bit worse.
I am concerned that the reservoir is leaking. if so, i doubt they would do anything about it until my appt on the 13th.
has anyone experienced anything similar, and does anyone have a closeup pic of the reservoir connection for the coloplast?
updated: 70 y.o., implanted with titan nov. 3 by Dr. Brady in orlando to correct peyronies. 20 cm with 3 cm RTEs. due to the severity of the peyronies, some internal excisions were made scrotally, recovery will probably take a little longer.

I'm a year post implant but still get pain when I stretch or over work the muscles in the reservoir area. I suspect you may be feeling the same thing. But only your doctor can tell you for sure. Good luck and good healing.
Implanted Dec 2016 by Dr. Morey, UTSW Dallas. AMS 700. BPH caused problems so Supra Pubic Catheter and Urolift Prostate implants. End results great. Botched implant by Dr. in Waco, TX 2006. After 10 years, went to Dr. Morey who made me whole.

It's kind of hard to say but it is still very early. I'm pretty sure your doctor is going to tell you to just take it easy and give it time to heal.
