Cycling to break up peyronies scar tissue?
Cycling to break up peyronies scar tissue?
Is it possible to break up scar tissue from peyronies disease with cycling? Does anyone here with peyronies have any experience with this?

Re: Cycling to break up peyronies scar tissue?
I had Peyronies for about 16 years and developed 45 degree left curve. So it was well developed in my penis. A dr few years back before Prostatectomy told me the hydraulic nature of an implant may eventually break scar tissue and provide a straighter penis. In 2016 and 2017 had a new dr who assessed Peyronies, treated with Xiaflex and then corrected the curve during implant surgery.
Prostate cancer diagnosis and Davinci Robotic Prostatectomy 2013; Diabetic, Crohns Disease; Peyronies; ED with pills and trimix with limited result; Xiaflex with limited result. AMS IPP 12/2017; bladder sling 12/2017 to correct incontinence caused by RP.

Would it be worth getting xiaflex injections even though I've already got an implant? I feel like my nerves are pinched from the scar tissue and have a general problem with numbness in my penis. Maybe xiaflex could help?

I would definitely stay away from Xiaflix. I had the full course of shots and the injections made my peyroines worse! When I went for a consult with Dr. Kramer prior to my implant he advised that there has not been much success with Xiaflix. I also did a course of Verapamil injection prior to the Xiaflix treatment - neither worked and both worsened the condition. If I had to do it over again I would have forgone the months and months of painful injections and just gotten the implant.

Many gave success w xiaflex (see peyronies society forum), but so far I have not either. Do you have an implant already and a peyronies bend?

I agree that Xiaflex not worth it. I went through 6 month regimen without success and got implant anyway.
I doubt can do injections of Xiaflex since needle would puncture implant rods.

In the years prior to getting my first implant, I saw a Dr that specialised in sexual disfunction. He did a number of tests on my penis, he had a little blood pressure cuff he put on it to take the blood pressure, he told me I had little to no blood pressure on the left side of my penis, resulting in a bend to the left much like the shape of a bananna. When I had my first implant the surgeon made the left side longer than the right in a bid to straighten my penis, all this did was make the whole thing shorter, it still had the banna bend. Since I got the Titan my penis is much straighter than it ever was but still has a bend to the left, I saw the surgeon two days ago, he told me to pump it up and bend it to the right to break up the scar tissue. I have tried to do this, man does it hurt, I can bend it slightly at about eighty percent inflation, but not a chance of bending it at max inflation it is as hard as a rock, i've got by with a bent dick in the past, I might have to be satisfied with it the way it is.

I got an implant after going through the verapamil and Xiaflix injections, which had worsened my condition. Dr. Kramer advised that I had a 90 degree upward bend during full inflation of implant. With modeling he was able to reduce the peyroines bend to about 10%. I got the AMS implant but perhaps the Titan would have been a better choice to break up the scar tissue. Anyway, 1 year post surgery I have had an opportunity to adjust to the implant and so has my wife. Overall I am happy with my decision.

Please create a signature. It makes things much easier to answer your questions without asking a lot of questions. Here's how you do it
Click on your name in the top right corner and select "user control panel"
Then under the big letters "User Control Panel" there is a row of words... select "Profile"
Then down the left had side of the "User Control Panel" select "Edit Signature" (You might have Create Signature or something. I don't know exactly what you'll get because I already have a signature to edit)
Most guys put something like what I have, but you can put whatever you want. Here is mine -
"AMS 700 (18 + 2 rte's). Implanted March 30, 2017 by Dr. Brock of London, Ont, CANADA. Great surgeon. Went in to septic shock and had to have implant removed April 29, 2017. I'm from Belleville, Ontario, CANADA. Appt. for consult for second attempt is on November 6, 2017... I can't wait."
Don't get too carried away with the doctor like his name, address, phone number, etc (anything that looks like advertising for him).. you can certainly say Dr. Jones (great Dr.)
If you need further help, please ask, that's what I'm here for.
