I don't want to be indelicate or intrusive, but I wonder if you wife climaxes (or wants to) with penile sex?

The main reason for complaint among women who have reported to me about sex ending too soon is that they have not had an orgasm. I used to quit giving her the stimulation that would give her one. I did not know any better when I was young and could not do any better with the onset of E.D. (Tongue, hands and toys notwithstanding)

A woman who has never had an orgasm (and there are some who have not, throughout their entire lives) might express no interest in continuing coitus to the point or orgasm. They simply enjoy the feelings and never know what they are missing. I even read about women who THINK they have had orgasms, but never had. They simply thought the peak of pleasuring was the climax and, never having had one, did not know any different.

Is it remotely possible your wife is one of those unlucky women? If so, she will consider herself one SUPER-lucky woman if you change her experience.
