My AMS 700 lx got infected and it has been more than a month since it was replaced with a malleable implant. I have not used it and don't have any intention on using it. I never realized the size of my natural penis until it was completely gone. I don't think it will be suitable for intercourse. Its 5 inches and doesn't stand erect. I'm gonna get it replaced as soon as possible.

When a brother posts on our forum especially an Implanted brother, we accept his post as truth. Even though some things like 6 hours for a 30 minute procedure and seriously, no doctor unless he's totally incompetent would ever say that men prefer a malleable dick over one you can pump up!
That's why we ask that our posters include a signature with their posts if they want to be taken seriously, otherwise some of us may feel that we are the ones being taken. Please give us more detail. Like how the hell did a routine implant procedure take 6 hours? We would love to know and what quack Dr. made such an outlandish statement about meallable dicks! Total BS! We are here to help you. The statement that some patients like the semi rigid implants is also made by Dr. Andrew Kramer from Maryland, it can be seen in the YouTube videos . My surgery lasted long because Coloplast doesn’t have the narrow base device in my size approved in Canada and I was unaware of that.
The surgeon had to fit the regular size device in the narrow base using graft . I would not blame him , he did his best I guess . Also if we read about salvage procedure after infection , the Semi rigid is the device of choice for most doctors because of less chance of infection.
According to my research , in Europe the three piece implants are rarely used , I just wanted to see if any of the friends here are using the semi rigid device and what are there views .

I from Europe. Not true about semirigid here. All doctor prefers three piece. Semirigid only for difficult cases or post infection.

PS. My surgery was 4 hours..but i had recontructive surgery of penis and graft.
The result in my case is spectacular.
