If I end up getting an implant I'll hopefully be able to use it every other day or so. Is this excessive? Will this cause my device to go on the fritz in only a year or two?
PS: Larry, sorry if it seems like I'm spamming the board. There's just so much information to want to learn just getting into this journey
How often do you use your device?

How often do you use your device?
26 years old. USA. ED problem since teenage years. Doctor prescribed ED meds showing some efficacy but not a guarantee. As much as I’d like the implant I now think I should hold off if I’m seeing some results from pills

Once you start using it, you’ll want to use it a few times a day lol. Use it as much as you like.

Ahhh crap wait I think I had already asked the question before anyway; I always forget what I've already asked. Oops

That's 100% fine... that's what we expect people will do.
As for wearing out the device, there really is no way to know what that amount of activity will do. I would think that every other day is not excessive. Every day is not excessive... 6 times a day just makes me jealous.

Since 2008 I've used my Titan exactly zero times.
Dave, 80, Maryland - Implant (Titan) 2008 by Dr. Andrew Kramer (failed Sept 2020) - never used due to a stroke that, among other things, ended my sex life.

I totally agree with Larry.

Baseballfan11,
From everything I have read it seems most surgeons advise men to cycle their implants twice daily. Since cycling involves fully pumping the device for a designated amount of time, sex and/or masturbation can be done simultaneously if you want to avoid overuse. Personally, I am more interested in putting my implant to work doing what it was intended to do than worrying about when it will wear out.

I am 64 and had ED from a VL. Implanted by Dr. Ronald Anglade in Atlanta on 9/18/17. I have an AMS700LGX 21 cm via a Penoscrotal incision. Very happy with results. 6" soft and 6 3/4” x 5 5/8” hard.

Every day if possible. Good times.
Now Implanted 9/12/17. 52 years old with ED for over 20 years. Tried all the pills and injections. Update. Implanted with Titan 22 + 1. by DR Ralph Dec 9th London. Now in recovery and at 3 months feeling the journey was worth the pain.
