It's finally done, surgery was Tuesday, spent one night in the hospital and discharged yesterday. I'm spending a couple of days in the hotel attached to the hospital and fly home tomorrow. Doc says everything went well, he measured 14.25 CM prior to surgery and said that's what I have after surgery so happy about that. Swelling is very minimal and hardly any bruising. The pain is more from the constant erection than from the surgery. Not sure who gave this tip but I'm glad I picked up on it. I brought several baby socks and rubber bands and that has been a savior! This little erect dude wants to bang into and rub on everything in sight! The sock really helps!
What is really painful is trying to point it up! I came prepared with five different kinds of underwear and bandages and gauze and tape and so far nothing I've tried is really comfortable. If I sit down and then stand up again, I've got pressure pushing down on the penis from the underwear band. I must immediately stick my hand in my pants to straighten everything out which is not going to work well flying home tomorrow.
Aside from that, I'm very pleased with the outcome and lack of swelling and bruising. Thanks to everyone for getting me this far. Will check in this weekend.
Vince

Congrats Vince. I am 13 days post op and am very pleased thus far. The discomfort drops off rapidly and I have to say I enjoy looking in the mirror and seeing my dick stand out on its own. Forgot what a sustainable hard on looked like. Best to you on your recovery. Things improve daily. Steven

8 days out and yess the most sensitive part is the outside skin on my penis. Just touching it is painful. When this goes down, I don't know when I will ever want it up again. Of coasre the idea of burying it in a nice warm comfortable wet pussy does sound good right now.

Thanks guys. How did you get it pointed up and inside underwear/pants comfortably? Just bending it up hurts.

The discomfort with keeping it pointed up is less every day. I got out for about an hour yesterday, the first real time keeping it contained for any amount of time. Went out for breakfast this morning. Now at the airport waiting on my flight. This was the one aspect that worried me most. I'm sure the discomfort factor will continue to improve. Out of the six different brands of underwear I came prepared with, the David Archer won hands down!

Re: 2nd Day - good so far
After surgery I had a jock strap on over the bandage package. I was pointed at 2-3 o'clock. My discharge instructions advised no need to tape at 12 o'clock to my abdomen. I was given ointment to apply to the incision. I was that way until I was discharged the next day after the cath was removed. Once back in the hotel I unwrapped the bandage. Applied the ointment covered with a 4x4 pad then put on tight briefs and the Jock strap. The jock strap wide band helped hold at 12 o'clock when I was up but I was mostly laying down. Discharge instructions said to wear the jock strap for 1-2 weeks. When I was up out of my room and for the flight home when I had to dress I would use the 2-3 o'clock location or alternate to 9-10 o'clock. I did that for the first week then discarded the jock strap and used just the briefs for a while to continue the 4x4 and ointment. My incision was very slow to heal. I did switch to the David Archy underwear and that is what I am using now.

Also using David Archy bikini briefs. Am using a support bandage that you wrap a pulled muscle with. About 36 in long . Wrapped it around my waist and over the penis. I can adjust the tension and it covers a longer area on my penis. Lots more gentle than just the elastic on my briefs.

Is the bandage inside the underwear or on top?
