Should I Get an Implant?? Please Read

Postby alterr » Sun Apr 29, 2018 5:07 pm

I need to make sure an implant is the way for me. Its an extremely important decision and not an easy one to make. Thats why I need to seek you guy's advice before proceeding.

I did sustain a serious permanent damage in 1996 when I took a med that gave my penis an hour glass formation at the base. The hour glass is gone somewhat but the med left me with ED. I've taken cialis and viagra with amazing success years ago. But viagra has stopped working 7 months ago. I've tried injections and they have worked. But I dont want to go back using them since it may be damaging long term, even though I still have a vial in the fridge in case theres an emergency and I'll need to use it although I havnet used injections in 2 years. I havent tried viagra or injections recently so i dont know if these may still work.

As to the erections themseves, some mornings I get erections but not every day. And not full ones and not ones that last a long time. However, last week after talking to a girl I liked on the street, I got an erection. It wasn't a full one. But I know that it would have led to a full enough erection to enjoy satifactory sex if it came to that point. The erection came about after I talked to this girl. At this point it seems like theres some psychology but not 100%. I dont know how much psychology is involved though.

Given the above factors, do you guys feel I should get an implant or not?
ED since 1996. Peyronies in 2012. PRP in 2013 and 2017. Dr. Brock, urology, NC, USA. Cialis and Viagra stopped working since 10/2017. Haven't been on Trimix since 3/2016. Will consider injecting it again. Will be prescribed testosterone injections soon.

YOu just said you got an erection that would lead to satisfactory sex if needed. I think you answered your own question. try the pills again ... check if your testosterone is within range. I would hold off.
27, divorced no kids, ED since as long as I can remember, don't know the cause. Pills work but hate the sides/planning. Leaning towards an implant.

I think that you should see a urologist that specializes is sexual problems. It doesn't seem like there is anything consistent going on so maybe a doctor could help you without surgery. :)
