Re: Don’t know which Penile implant to choose!
I would recommend continuing your research. Both AMS and Coloplast have equal results when it comes to length. The difference between the AMS and Coloplast is that Coloplast will give you a 'rock hard' erection, while the AMS will feel more natural when deflated. Other than that, there will be little difference. The size of the device will be determined - totally - by measurement during the procedure. You can't have a device larger than your body is capable of handling implanted. (Well, you can, but when you inflate it, it will buckle. If you think Peyronie's disease is a bad deal, it is nothing when compared with a buckled implant.) Always get more than one opinion. I empathize with you my friend.

The AMS LGX expands in Length and Girth. In the 6 months I have had mine I have gained 1/2 inch in both.

Keep in mind your anatomy. Coloplast offers more sizes and will expand to a larger girth. If you are wide, likely a skinnier implant will not make you happy. If flaccid is what you are looking for the AMS/Boston Scientific feels like the real deal, but then, why get one if you already have a flaccid dick and that is all you want?
LGX 21cm .Milam 01/13/16. Horror; both service and surgical outcome. hated infrapubic installation. Kramer revision 03/01/17. 22cm Titan +1.5cm extender. Those who think their opinion is the only one that matters are a danger to themselves and others.

I understand that you hat a bad experience but your experience doesn’t not void all the good experiences of others. Before I got my implant I did research for over a year and all reasearch pointed me in the direction of the AMS 700LGX. All the research overwhelmingly showed that most people were able to get back most of the size they lost after many years of ED. The AMS 700LGX will not give size beyond what God gave you that’s for sure but according to studies and recipients reviews it will give you back what the good lord originally gave you. Now if a person never lost size then perhaps Coloplast Titan would be the best for them but when there is lost of size and you want it back then AMS is no brainer.

I already had the surgery on 4/18/2018. I did do extensive research for a year and here on Frank Talk I got final confirmation on the AMS 700LGX and so far I am very happy! But thanks for your advice.

Remember that -- contrary to what you see in porn -- the average erect penis size is around 5.5" (mine is 5" and I am fine with it, as is my wife).

Lol yes sir I do understand that but if I could go from 4.75 today after surgery to anything between 5 and 5.25 with the AMS 700LGX I would be satisfied and if I ever get back to5,75 it will be an added bonus. Crossing my fingers!

Almost exactly where I stand. I'm 10 months post-implant and have gone from 4.5" to almost 5.25" with 2x a day cycling, most days. I doubt I'll ever get back to my pre-prostatectomy 5.75", but I think 5.5" is attainable. But even if I get no more gain, I still LOVE IT compared to a limp little dick that liked to hide inside.

P.S. I found crossing my fingers made it difficult to pump the little fella up.

jr99, I am making no recommendation. The brand you and a QUALIFIED doctor without financial incentive to one brand should help guide you along with your preferences and the FACT remains as I pointed out, there are limitations to either brand as far as expansion. I was only pointing out something that 4 doctors told me was a mistake in my first implant. If a water balloon or inner tube is your best suit, that is what you need to go with. Like I said, your anatomy should help you decide because some fit better than others. For all I know you have this and may need one of each. I have no intention of having a nit pick war with you and if you already know the answers you need not ask the question.
