Anyone Here Not Satisfied with Getting Implant?

Postby alterr » Sat Jul 07, 2018 1:15 pm

Is there anyone here who isnt satisfied with getting an implant? I dont want to later come to the realization that i may have made a bad decision. If youre not satisfied tell me why. Thanks.

ED since 1996. Peyronies in 2012. PRP in 2013 and 2017. Dr. Brock, urology, NC, USA. Cialis and Viagra stopped working since 10/2017. Haven't been on Trimix since 3/2016. Will consider injecting it again. Will be prescribed testosterone injections soon.

Cialis a year ago was great. After RP and nerves removed, Tri mix had better feeling and sensitivity than implant even though there was pain from trimix. With implant, orgazim is almost impossible. I would never do it if I had ANY type of natural erection with pills or injections. I had to do it because injections started to cause pyronies.

So you dont experience orgasm with an implant.. Is this because of your operation with your nerves removed? Even after your nerves were removed were you able to get orgasms with injections?

I’m curious too because such loss of sensation is not what I have seen described on this forum or others.
Genetically sky-high Lp(a) of 390 led to various heart diseases. Ultra-low testosterone of 120 (now 480 with Clomid) also contributed to ED at age 41. Managing with daily Cialis, but for me, the implant is a "when", not an "if".

At 4 months I am still questioning. I don’t like the way my flaccid dick looks or feels. I have loss sensation. It is harder to cum. The sensation and cumming has got some better. If I was not married I would be concerned about someone touching my flaccid dick, it does not feel normal. If I could not have sex without it I would certainly have it done. For me Tri Mix stillworked okay. For some of use it takes much longer to heal completely so I am going to give it more time. The process has taken longer than I expected. I am hoping at 6 months all will be good. I feel like this is sold that in 6 to 12 week all will be good. Not my experience. Sold as minor out patient procedure. Not my experience.

Hi Maverick2dog,

Youre saying you feel little sensation since you got your implant, as in low sexual sensation? Would you elaborate? I assume youre not satisfied with your implant. Did your doc say that this sensation will return?

Again please elaborate this feeling and if you recommend an implant or just injections. Thanks.

I feel less sensation. It is more difficult to cum. My Doc thinks the sensation will get better with a little more time. He also prescribed me sometime that makes it a little easier to cum. Regret is a strong word and I am going to stay positive, sometimes it is difficult. Everyone is different and some, many have a great experince. There are positives to my experience as well.
My suggestion is to make a very informed decision. Know the risk and be willing to live with your results. If someone had a great experience there are more likely to say do it. If they have had problems they would probably say wait. I am on the fence. My issues are implant issues not doc issues. Doc is great!

I’m curious too because such loss of sensation is not what I have seen described on this forum or others.

Maybe with time sensation will come back. I had a hard natural dick this time last year. I did use 2.5 Cialis to have sex. After the RP operation , I had good sensation with the Trimix. I had a dull achey pain from the Trimix. But the sex was good with lots of sensation. It would take about 10 minutes to come. @ days ago I tried to have sex with this dick and it took almost an hour to come. I was sucked and fucked in every position imaginable, and when I came it was , like bam it is over. No great sensation. Like I say, be careful what you wish for if you have anything at all right now.

Hi oldbeek,

Well I have sensation. But I get so-so strong morning wood. Theyre not rock hard. But theyre ok. Most of the time theyre soft-like. I'm in between you can say in rigidity terms. I do have sensation only if my erections are full. If not, I dont feel as horny.

Pills have stopped working months ago. I acquired a bend on the left side from injecting in 2012. But I started injecting again in 2015. But I havent injected since 2016. I dont want to inject again for fear I might bend my penis again. But if a girl wants to have sex with me I will have no choice but to inject. So I dont know if I should inject again.

So right now I'm thinking about an implant. Honestly I'm scared about getting one. the thing holding me back is the possibility that I'll lose all sexual sensation and my horniness goes away forever, although all docs I've talked to say the surgery wont affect it in the least.

Let me know what you think... thanks.
