Implant concerns @2 weeks~

Postby 53@MVA » Fri Aug 31, 2018 11:05 am

I am summing there are what are in effect something similar to zip ties to secure the tubing to either tissue or some sort of suture. When I wipe my butt I am used to lifting up my sack and when I did this I felt the sharp edge of something that turned into a sharp stick pain similar to an injection. Every time I do this I feel the part and the pain.

Today I woke up in enormous pain comparable to 3rd day out of surgery. I noticed the tip of the prosthesis which I thought was supposed to be partially in the glans sticking out about a 1/4" back from the glans and clearly visible thru the skin. Also on the other side at the base I had three palpable bumps/wrinkles and I can now feel the extenders on the right side.

The tubing is looped on the left,my left, side at the root base of the penis and I can't see having intercourse with it being on top of the pubic bone. It tender to touch but but when the flesh is flying that is going to hurt like hell.

Pump size seems to be just huge. I have very sensitive almost a don't touch sensitivity regarding my testicles. This pump is bouncing off the inside of each testicle or putting pressure on the testicles constantly and being a side sleeper has become impossible at this point.

Let me be the first to tell you that time will be your best friend. At week three you should start seeing improvements... decrease in swelling, pain, etc. Until then you should be icing for a maximum of 20 minutes at a time continue with pain control meds and as soon as your doctor gives you the green light start taking nice hot, soothing baths. You MUST resist the urge to commence ANYTHING until your doctor says so (cycling, bathing, sex, etc). Be patient and you will be rewarded, if you are impatient, you risk permanent injury to your implant or your Johnson. :)

The tubing and pump problems could be normal and just need more time; but, I would worry about the other factors concerning the pain from something pointed and the placement of the other units. Things may not have been put in right or they may have eroded to somewhere they shouldn't be. I personally would be going to my Doctor to get those things checked. Good luck! I hope it is nothing but if there is erosion, infection is possible.

If the tips are sticking out underneath the glands there is something wrong . That is a problem I had.

So, went the Dr this past Fri and he said everything looked great. No infection signs. Healing but still have swelling mainly in the penis so I feel like I am at half mast 100% of the time. I was feeling around today and last night trying to get a grip on the pump and release valve. Finding both but I noticed the pump is absolutely rock hard like a over inflated football. Can't even mildly compress it with my thumb and index finger. Is there a some sort of lock on it? I actuated the release valve with no issue but the pump not even close. Dr wants me to heal up and wait 3 weeks for a return visit to activate the wood. I see a lot of different approaches from different MDs in regards to cycling the device and none are even close to what he has done both surgically and or post surgically. He said I could take a hot soak bath in 10 days. No mention of cycling the device.

The pain is slowly residing and now just taking Advil. Big issue is sitting. It feels like I am sitting on a 50mm mortar shell after about 5 min and the sensation pain is in the scrotal / taint or prostate area and just kicks my ass. Standing after about 10 min feels like I have a 10 lb weight tied to my scrotum.

One thing I have noticed in watching the various surgical techniques employed is none of the MDs used a incision into the abdomen for the resovoir placement. My Dr did. I have a 6" scar to add to my collection from that. He also used a horizontal incision on my scrotum instead of the usual midline approach.

He is wanting me to pull down on the pump valve device saying that it will ascend Behind the penis if I don't . ? I know he yanked the fuck out of it.

Try pressing the deflate button and then try pumping again. AMS pumps do that.

I am not sure about the AMS but the points you feel or see may not be the "tips" but rather simply a fold in the uninflated tubing. I know the LGX contracts so it folds less than the Titan but I am not sure that it does not fold at least some. If so the fold can temporarily produce sharp points or "dog ears"

Others that know more about the LGX can address this better.

Yeah apparently what I was seeing is the weld to the tip of the prosthetic. He had me palpatate the tip in the glans which was slightly less than a half inch into the glans from the top. I could actually feel the points. All good!
