BPH treatment and an implant
I have an appt to discuss an implant with my uro next week, and we will also talk about my BPH. So far I have had no treatment for BPH but it’s time to start. Wondering if anyone has had one of the minimally invasive treatments like the new Urolift at the same time as the implant. I do not want to take pills for BPH, as I already take about 20 a day. Thanks for your help

I don't believe a uro surgeon will do surgeries together cause risk of infection with having a implant placed.
I needed a bladder stimulator placed to help me piss and my uro wouldn't do both at same time.

It depends on what it is. I had my implant done at the same time I had some plastic surgery in the pelvic region. This combo was ok.

Re: BPH treatment and an implant
I had the Urolift done 30 days prior to my implant. She said that they could not be done at the same time. I would recommend the Urolift. Not life changing but I don't have to be nervous when I don't have a bathroom in my line of site anymore.
Suffered with ED for most of my life. Viagra then to Trimix then implanted 3/8/2018 with AMX 700 CX 21cm with 1cm RTE. 50 years old Urolift procedure performed 30 day prior to my implant surgery.
