Any of my bionic brothers who had a prostatectomy have difficulty with orgasms? I do. I've been reading up on this, and it seems that up to 70% of RP patients have some type of orgasmic dysfunction (DO) -- painful climax, inability to climax or difficulty achieving climax. I sure wasn't told about this.
Now that I have my implant and have "conquered" ED, its kind of a bummer that orgasms are so rare and often unimpressive. That being said, I have had some incredible orgasms since the implant, but not many, and they're not easy to achieve -- with my wife or alone.
So in reading up on this I stumbled upon articles about cabergoline, and it's success (70% in one test) in helping guys get their orgasms back. Wondering if any of you have had any experience with this drug. I am seeing my PCP on Monday and plan to ask him about it and see if he will prescribe it. Any input from anyone?

Man,
I am post prostatectomy guy and yes , I have same problem ever since my prostate was removed. My orgasams are non existent and I can’t even say I had one. To get to point of inevitability takes lots of time, and when there, I am not sure I had one.
From implant standpoint, I can not answer this question.
At 46 days post implant, I still did not take it for test ride due to unfortunate circumstances with my implant.

Re: Trouble climaxing
I'm having the same problem and I have my prostate, no other surgeries "down there". But since my implant cumming and climax are a problem. I have only cum once during intercourse since my implant. It can take a half hour jacking off with a toy before I cum, if I cum at all. Yet the other morning my wife was playing with me, my dick, and all of a sudden I came and climaxed. So does this mean it is in my head? I know I'm not as sensitive as I was before implant, when a vibrator or an electric toothbrush would get me off with no problem. Now nether one does anything for me , I am 4 months out in a week, and was hoping by now the sensitivity would be better. Over all, I am happy with my implant, at least I can have intercourse now which was impossible before, it sure make the wife happy .

MK, Carl and Andy,
Thanks for the replies. Have any of you looked into cabergoline?
Has anyone else?

Re: Trouble climaxing
No I did not.
If things don’t improve with my implant, I definitely won’t need cabergoline. I have non usable implant and if things don’t improve in 6 months, I will ask for implant to be removed.
No sex before implant, no sex after implant, where is then difference?

Re: Trouble climaxing
It is a bitch to try to reach an orgasm but at times i do. Too often i am thinking so much about trying to get there and get it with my wife: that i think it is all my fault. Always trying to please her first.
I guess it is all right since the first sex with my wife, i always came first and often forgot about her. So i guess now I am getting punished.
However, I heard that many of us who pump (VED) have difficulty reaching orgasm. I don't know if that is all true but it could present a link to our difficulties. The loss of sensation with the Corpora Cavernosa depleted where the shaft is like steel and then the glans is not fully engorged when the cylinders expand into the head stopping the flow of blood there. The engorgement of the whole penis has a lot to do whether or not we are going to climax. Anyway, if i pump like a son of a bitch and long enough I do get there and I thank God for that.
Have not tried Cabergoline.....

Titan implanted by Dr Eid Due to Peyronies, Implant was the only option for me.
Re: Trouble climaxing
I was told by my doc the difficulty with orgasm is directly related to the glans not being engorged. So even with the implant inflated the sensitive tip of the penis is flaccid. I agree that it can be difficult acheiving orgasm with vaginal sex but since I have retrograde ejaculation I just play along and satisfy her since she can't tell since I don't shoot anything. If necessary I finish the job with my hand. I am thinking of taking Viagra to see if will engorge the glans.
Age 68 - AMS LGX 12+2cm. Lost over an inch from pre-ED length but thicker for what it's worth (not much). ED result of heart meds.
Re: Trouble climaxing
Since my implant two years ago, I have never been able to reach orgasm. The implant works fine but I just can't get across the bridge. Any advice?
