Everyday Life With Implant Concerns
Everyday Life With Implant Concerns
I am scheduled to have implant surgery Nov 14. I have read discussions on this board talking about semi-hard erections all day long even when completely deflated. Is this a real issue? Does it get uncomfortable rubbing against your shorts? I do not want to sacrifice being comfortable all day long for some occasional sex. Am I worrying about nothing?
Re: Everyday Life With Implant Concerns
Almost 2 months post implant and still sticking out at 90 degrees or 3 o’clock position. It is uncomfortable for me and bothers me to the point of regretting. And my implant is still virgin at 53 days post op. Because of many issues, I was not able to engage in an intercurse.

Yes, both are very much possible early in recovery. In time, it gets back to normal.
Re: Everyday Life With Implant Concerns
I am scheduled Nov 14th as well. So is the implant to rigid to at least bend it up and hold in place with a jock strap or tighter fitting underwear wear? Surgery is on Wed. and I fly back on Sat. I have some business appt's 3 weeks after surgery...I am getting a little nervous here. I would think the greater the length the more you can position it to conceal...unfortunately I am joe average.
I was told I would leave with 15% inflated.

After recovery you can enjoy a nice comfortable, obvious bulge. Get used to it and enjoy the glances. I did. And still do.

Six weeks post implant
I had implant surgery Sept 12. Although uncomfortable, recovery wasn’t as bad as I expected. I was semi rigid for first 7 days until a planned post op visit when the doctor deflated the implants. I was black and blue for a month but by the time of my post op visit six weeks out I appeared fully healed.
I went yesterday for my final Dr. Visit and the great reveal. he told me to take pain medication for the first time of learing to inflate. It was uncomfortable but not terriible until my erect penis got to about 4” and the Dr. Exclaimed, “it’s perfect, look how straight it is”. While I had to agree that he had straightened out my member, my heart sank to my stomach as I realized with horror that I had lost 2” or more of length. My wife was there and had the same reaction.
I had not been properly prepared, or I didn’t want to hear, how much shorter my member would be. We were able to have sex right away, although it is painful for me and tere isn’t much pleasant sensation at this point. I assume that will change as I get more fully healed and used to the pressure of the inflation. But it is a psychological adjustment.
My erection is hard, especially at base which matters most for sex. My wife does climax with the new, smaller, unit, but I have to make adjustments as I was accustomed to having a longer “stroke” and more to work with. We are a lifestyle couple and I don’t know how I’ll feel next time in a group situation.
As to the everyday size, it is a lttle more full than before but not hard to keep in normal trousers or shorts. I’m aware of it but I think it is still healing and ultimately I’ll have the option of being fully deflated or a bit inflated in case I choose to be more of a shower since I am no longer a grower.

Your reaction echoes mine. However you probably will get at least 1/2" maybe even an inch back if you regularly pump it up and leave it up for a few hours at a time. Not being able to aggressively thrust is disappointing but try some different positions that give you maximum penetration.
Good luck.

Age 68 - AMS LGX 12+2cm. Lost over an inch from pre-ED length but thicker for what it's worth (not much). ED result of heart meds.

Geez boys, they say that patience is a virtue......
Yes the first 4 weeks or so is uncomfortable being semi pumped but time is your friend. Rarely do you read of any of us 12 months plus brothers having any of these issues. Have you not figured out the common factor?
It’s TIME!
Once you are activated you will need to pump up to maximum for 20 minutes TWICE a day......it will hurt.....you will feel uncomfortable.....the perfect adage “ no pain no gain” really applies here! And during that process you will learn to deflate.......all the way down and that is when you will find your sweet spot for flaccid.
Personally I like a few pumps back in.....sort of partial fat. You might prefer completely flat....the only time I deflate all the way is for when I surf....it’s more comfortable laying on my board that way.
It’s a journey boys....one that is at least a year long.
Stop all this negative talk, man up, take the cycling process pain and be confident that in 15 months time most of your concerns will have evaporated
Oh yeah to the guy freaking over length loss..... I regained much of what I thought I had lost (at the 6week mark) over the following 15 months of wanking, fucking and cycling

SMetro, Alibaba, Merrix, and those who have experienced the long haul are invaluable to this forum. They provide support throughout the first year of implant. I understand there are many that get implanted and leave this forum. I plan on staying and helping where I csn, as well as receiving gracious input from others for a long time!
Shesgottahaveit- I used to be quite long. I lost about 2 inches from Peyronie’s disease. My dr. Stayed true to my size and haven’t lost anymore postvimplant. If your wife can climax with what you got, you are better off than most guys with ED. I have come to terms with my length loss and as long as my wife can have a proper orgasm, then it was worth it.

Yea, it seems that the amount the implant is left inflated differs greatly from doctor to doctor. In time your AMS implant will look and feel more natural.
