LGX and the magical 25% increase in length

Dr. Eid who has likely done more implants than anyone on earth told me, if sized properly, I would get the same length from either and that was my preop length. He said what I would get from the LGX was length reduction on deflation which matches their ad slogan of "Hard for the bedroom, soft for the locker room". One thing is certain, after years of wearing high-torq penile traction for 2 - 4 hours a day and maxing out, no inflatable cylinder inside of my penis pumped up for an hour a day was going to make my penis longer.

Dr. Eid also said that the Titan can make a penis have more girth because the girth is limited only by the limits of the tunica rather than a mesh on the cylinder. He said that can be a fault IF your tunica is thin or weak because the penis will stretch very wide and lose rigidity. I asked my wife, (who likes to say size does not matter) "if I told you I had to gain 20% in length or 20% in girth and you only had ten minutes to push a button which one would you hit." She said girth.

The AMS is a top notch product but both of these have some advantages. That is why I would always suggest a doctor that uses both.

Hawkman; I hate to disagree but, since being implanted on 14 Dec 2017 with the AMS LGX, I have gained both length and significant girth. I am up 3/4 of an inch in girth and 1/2 an inch in length, and I am just thrilled (before and after pictures are posted again. This growth is suppose to continue up to 2 years. I have been watching (and participating in) the great Coloplast/AMS debate for a year and a half and I think I know the what and why. I am pretty sure that the reason that men with larger penises like/get the Coloplast is because of the sheer weight of their unit. The larger penis is heavier and so it makes sense that it has the weight to pull the Titan down, making it look more natural and flaccid. Those of us with smaller penises don't have the weight to pull the Titan down so we use the implant with the softer material and that works for us. A note for those members who think I have a hard-on for the Titan, last evening, for at least the second time, I recommended the Titan vs the AMS. While I have my reasons to believe that the AMS is better for most men, I also have very strong feelings on who should get the Titan. There is some science behind my choices and some gut feeling.

Added comment. When iI is the AMS I was impressed with the length expandibility. My reasoning was I would get a longer sick. WRONG! THE dr subtracts the amount of expected expansion so the erosion problem does not occur. Defeats the theory that lgx 700 ultra provides a longer penis
Since girth can be more important than length the Titan should be considered.

AMS told me that you are implanted with the maximum unexpanded size device that will fit. That means if they can fit an 18, you'll get an 18 and that 18 can expand 25% depending on your physiology.

Makes for an interesting contradiction between AMS and your Dr.. Maybe Doc just has a more conservative approach with respect to avoiding possibility of tissue erosion? HTH.

This is exactly what my doctor told me. He said that the erect size was limited by my anatomy, not by the device. That's why when you pump it to 100%, you feel some discomfort, as the implant could go bigger and is stretching your tissue.

FWIW, my erect length after activation was, as far as I could tell, exactly the same as right before when I was using trimix. I had lost a lot of length in the previous few years though from ED and not having regular erections until I started the trixmix. I'm hoping to get some of that back eventually, but I'm extremely pleased with how things are now and with the job my doc did.

My wife says exactly the opposite. She said the large girth of the Titan was uncomfortable for her.

I do believe for men who have larger penises, Titans are superior, but for those of us in the average range either brand can produce great results.
