From what I've read on this site and elsewhere, Dr. Ralph is highly regarded as one of the top penile implant surgeons in Europe. Why don't you shoot either Dr. Eid or Dr. Kramer an e-mail and ask them the following: if they needed an implant and did not want to leave the U.K. for the procedure, who would they recommend?

Would they reply to a random email? Without payment?

I don't know about Dr. Eid, but I think Dr. Kramer would give you an answer. In fact, Dr. Ralph is a friend of his if I remember correctly...

I can't seem to track down an email address for either. Makes sense as I'm sure that they don't want to be bombarded. There are only contact forms.

I'm going to PM you back!
37, mild to moderate ED since age 21, 3 Dopplers - 1 result VL & 3 later results 'no physical problem', dependent on cialis (efficacy now waning), overcame Lymophoma at age 26, ED causing immense/profound psychological distress. Considering implant.

My answers to your questions:

- Are following revisions ‘easier’ per se to do? I ask because I’m not sure I would be able to manage the cost outlay of going to the US every time and I would rather have revisions completed here in the UK.
{...Tangerine answer...}: It is said that revisions are easier on you the patient, but revision surgery is harder on the surgeon. The good news is that the issue of undersizing is not a problem with revision since the surgeon might likely just use the exact same dimensions as with your original implant. So, if the original implant was sized perfectly, your revision surgeon (who might not be the level of your original surgeon) will have a higher likelihood of duplicating your original results since the sizing and graoundwork foundation are all in place for him.

- Following that, is it common place for other surgeons to revise implants put in by other teams? Must be, surely... .
{...Tangerine answer...}: yes, this is common and not an issue so long as your revision happens after the first year has passed (the first year would likely preferrably go to the original surgeon.)
- Is the lifetime guarantee of the implant voided if you go to another medical team to have it installed? .
{...Tangerine answer...}: The Coloplast lifetime gaurantee still applies. HOWEVER, the coloplast lifetime guarantee is really only worth about ten thousdand dollars (the cost of the actual implant). The coloplast guarantee does not cover, as far as I know, the cost of the hospital operating room or the cost of the surgeon. Of course, some surgeons provide an extra guarantee if the device fails prematurely (for example, fails in less than 10 years), but that is a different deal then the coloplast lifetime deal.

- Would my doctor be offended if I chose to go to the US and only used him or his team down the line for revisions? .
{...Tangerine answer...}: If you come running to your local doctor to handle complications within the first twelve months, then yes they will be "irritated" but will still take good care of you. After the first year, there is no issue with the doctor's ego generally.
I just want to be sure of the absolute best result and until last night where we saw a thread of a man who unfortunately picked up an infection that sidelined him for 18 months, I hadn’t seen one negative story or poor outcome reported from Eid’s clinic. .
{...Tangerine answer...}: agree. I am a Dr Eid patient and had a truly perfect result and quick recovery

I don’t want floppy glans or a poorly sized cock. .
{...Tangerine answer...}: The only way to insure that you are sized correctly is to see if your surgeon keeps careful size meaurements on a written sheet and that he shares those measurements with you. Only the very most experienced surgeons will have the guts to place the numbers on a sheet so that you have irrefutable evidence regarding how close they came to preserving your length (remember, it is expected that you will lose a little length (?one quarter or one half inch). Also, go with a surgeon who will allow you to talk to a couple of patients on the phone, and ask those patients how they feel about length.

(63 yo, Titan 22cm implant Feb 2017 by Dr Eid) I'm super pleased with my length/girth/implant performance. See my story at "The road to becoming a bionic male: Answers ..."
