I too have a soft glans prior to implant. I can only get a firm one with the use of a constriction ring. I am intending to use one after implantation. My greatest concern is that the tubing (The pipes transferring the saline to the implant) will interfere with the ring. The tight ring can't be placed on the tubing I assume.

Am I right in thinking the only way to get the tubing as close to the body as possible is by minimising the use of Rear Tip Extenders?

Since the implant tubing comes already in place, the only way to get the tubing as far down the shaft as possible is to minimise RTE.

I have not seen this discussed, I just can't help but think that is the only thing that would avoid that problem. This is my greatest concern.

And the depth of your crus, more specific the anatomy of your pubic bone.

E.g. if you are big in terms of height and have a wide pubis, you might be lucky

Or was the ring sitting on those tubes?

The depth of your crus would make sense as being important, mr.skin. I doubt mine is that deep, I don't know.
Guess one could wear a ring above the base if it came to it.
