You sound like me last year. I had assumed that a longer penis would ruin my approach and cause me to bend down stick out instead of up. Then I got longer anyway. Makes no difference the implant naturally sticks out after the cylinders soften no matter what Length. And since I need hand assistance anyway the extra length only makes for longer strokes when my back can take it. 30 years ago big difference but today? Not really

No, but my surgeon told me to cycle regularly for the first year and that with time I would end up with a great result.

Yeah the keyword here is "roughly"... of course many guys are blessed with a solid anchor, but others of us are blessed with an "external majority." My implant is literally only 1.4" longer than my BPEL so when you factor the glans expansion, that's maybe 2.4" of internal dimension. Considering the RTE, almost none of my inflatable portion is internal. In practice, my 100% pumped implant still hangs at 4 o'clock or lower. Sure, I suppose I am lucky that most of my length is external, but I just have to reinforce that there is no way any of us can predict how much length a certain size implant will actually produce. It is all about individual anatomy.
