I do around 80 flights per year, and have done so for the last 5-7 years.
As I got the implant about 4 years ago, it means I have done around 300 flights with my implant.
I don't even know if I have a "card", and hence never brought one. What happens for me is one of two scenarios, about equally frequently.
Either nothing. I just walk through as normal.
Or the walk-through screening machine signals there is something on me. On those types where I can see myself where the machine detects soemthing, it looks as if it is the reservoir that it detects.
When that happens, they will manually scan and search me. They pat me on my belly and in my pockets. When nothing is there, they just let me go.
It has never happened that I have had to explain myself, show something, gotten questioned etc. Never even once in >300 flights.

Regarding events, concerts etc, I have never had a problem ever.

I have always traveled with TSA pre check and do not have to use the full body scanner. Last week my number was left off my boarding pass and i had to go through the full body scanner. They showed me the image which showed a "groin anomoly". The pat down consisted of pressing around my penis which was hanging down my right leg, to see the outline of the anomoly. When he (and the 20 people waiting to pass the scanner) saw it was a penis, I was permitted to go.
