You think I should ask him after all this time? I mean, surgery was on the 10th. It never dawned on me to ask him about the vid. I just assumed he would do it, but never did.
Couldn't hurt. In fact it's possible he didn't video your surgery since it was partly exploratory but if he records all and sorts them out later, he may have it "in the can" and just hasn't put it up yet because you haven't asked about it.
That's honestly one thing I'm unhappy about with my doctor. As they were administering the anesthesia, I asked him for a copy of the video of my surgery (after seeing a few of Dr. Kramer's videos) but he said he didn't do video because of the risk of liability if a surgery doesn't have the desired outcome. As I drifted into Propofol sleep I was thinking, "WTF???"
