I think a select group of women secretly can't wait for ED to set in. That removes the sex discussion. If hubby brings it up, she can beat the crap out of him for "his" failure to perform problem. She might even proclaim to miss sex just to twist the knife.

I recall, when Viagra first came out, there was some amount of "pushback" from women who complained, "And just when I thought all that mess about sex was over!".

On the OTHER other hand, it is a cruel trick for Mother Nature to play; Just as a woman no longer has to worry about getting pregnant, her husband loses the ability to GET her pregnant.

A man is fertile and able to get a woman pregnant till the day he dies, if he is fertlle and don't lose fertility because an illness. If he doesn't have ED, he can get a woman pregnant at whatever age.

It is true that the older a man becomes, the greater the chances of ED are, but there are men in the 90's able to have erections without help of meds or implants.

Wow, sorry to hear about your situation. Your wife seems, well, not a good person. Your partner should be there for you and help you in life. if not, they are not your "partner". We all age. things get saggy, other things grow and get a little fatter, we lose some stuff and gain other stuff... this is all part of growing as we go through life. If she has actually told you that she finds your equipment "revolting", then wow...just wow.. To me that borders on emotional abuse. If I where in your situation I would move on as quickly as possible, get out of this poison relationship and find that person that loves you for you. They are out there. Took me 3 tries to finally find the right one.

True, a man does not lose fertility as he ages. But I was speaking in broad generalities. I will modify the canard:

Not exactly I guess. As I know, sperm is continuosly being produced. That is the reason why the nocturnal eyaculations occurs: continuous sperm generation, if not emptied, split over. When a man get excited, the sperm production intensify.

The eggs of woman, as you say, stop being produced at menopause.

I have put the example of Julio Iglesias. I think is a widely famous Spanish singer and almost everybody knows him. For those who not, he has been father after 70's, and his father was father at 81.

I had a friend in high school whose father I'll never forget meeting. I figured the guy was his great grandfather. He told me his dad fathered him at age 83 with his second wife who was half his age. He told me his dad said "a man isn't old until he can no longer have sex". Made me remember the 89 year old man at one of the ED seminars I spoke at. He was there for info on implants... and he was single!
