It is perfectly fine and a great outcome. In the first months after operation, the penis tissue is still swollen. As the tissue heals and sweeling subsides, more space will be available for the cylinders to expand. So you will have to pump more times. In the long term, if you cycle everyday, the penile tissue may also expand. If this happens, again you will need more volume to keep the penis shaft hard. Naively speaking, if the penis becomes hard and functional, there is not much to be worried about the number of pumps.
