regarding the issue of having trouble with orgasm; this might maybe have something to do with compromise of some of the nerves in your penis during the surgery. Possibly, this is more of a problem in Infrpubic approach (as opposed to penoscrotal approach). For some people on franktalk (specifically, smetro and lmcatman), there was sucessful regain of orgasm after a year or two. You might want to private message them. Possible, they improved because the nerves eventually grew back (yes, nerves do that and it can take a year or two).

Here on the west coast, Dr Ed Karpman is my urologist taking care of implant followup. I think he is an extremely qualified implant surgeon.

I talked to him about my wife's disappointment that my glans does not engorge , he said that a trial of trimix gel seems reasonable, and he sent the prescription for trimix gel into university compounding pharmacy in san diego.

It is available only through prescription. The cost is 100 dollars for 5 doses.

I have just started to read your "pamphlet" on becoming bionic. I find it to be a really good resource even after having had my Coloplast (22cm Titan with 125 ml reservoir) for 5 months and I expect it is even more beneficial to those only just considering a IPP. I'm still adapting and learning and as you appear to be, continuing efforts to maximize the pleasure and benefits to both my wife and myself. Above all else, in spite of my tendency for analysis paralysis, was the statistics of a high rate of satisfaction vs. my prior state of ED that kept me pursuing the IPP.
