Surgery Scheduled for 9/21/2010 - Advice Solicited

I had the titan implanted about 4 months ago and I can honestly say that I'm very happy with it, I did not lose any appreciable length, gained significant girth, It's changed my life.

I pray my experience will be exactly the same. Thanks for your reply.

Today I received my appointment notification for the anesthesia pre-op and my urology pre-op on the 13th of Sept. Does anyone know what happens during these pre-op appointments?

I had my pre-op today. It consisted of a consultation, blood work, ekg, and a chest x-ray. The surgery was moved to the 30th due to a new surgeon joining the staff. The new surgeon is a specialist with sexual dysfunction and not a general urological surgeon. The original VA uro surgeon told me that this guy does tons of these implants and is considered a guru amongst the the VA staff throughout the US. I hope he's as good as told.

I'll post back with his name later. All the information came at me pretty quickly and my memory isn't what it used to be.

The doctor that did my surgery is named Terlecky. I googled him but couldn't find anything, perhaps I'm not doing it correctly. Anyway, the implant was installed on the 30th of Sept., 2010. I'm at home and resting while it all heals up. I'm told I can't use it for about 6 weeks. I can't wait.

Its likely that someone with a dick the size of yours would be recommended the Titan anyway. Please see a recent post by another large guy. He went to the Dr everyone here loves (Milam), and who is well known for preferring the AMS, and that Dr told him he would recommend the Titan because of his size.

I would take advantage of VA benefit if it were me.

Yes, the docs say no sex for 6 weeks...... but most of us were so horny we couldn't keep our hands off it that long.... and we wound up jacking off *just a bit* after several weeks. Felt pretty darned good!!

Phew! I'm glad it's a done deal. The anticipation was stressful. I'll tell you something very strange about this ordeal, I'm getting regular erections (not related to the implant) now. My penis starts to stir and the next thing you know is I have an erect (not inflated by the prosthesis) penis. It's painful and very unexpected but welcomed. I wonder if anyone else has noticed this?

It's not a problem right now for me to keep my hands off because my balls are the size of a grapefruit and very painful. My penis and balls are very dark purple (almost black) and extremely painful. I can hardly even walk or get out of the bed. I sure look forward to the pain and swelling going away.

Thanks for the reply Julios. I FEEL that the AMS would have been better, but I think that's just because I've read so much about it and everyone's positive experiences. Plus I'm attracted to the thought that if some size was lost, it would be regained (the grass is always greener...). However, I've been told that if the prosthesis is fitted correctly there won't be any loss to worry about. It's all done now, so it's a dead issue for me. I'll just have to wait and see the final result when the healing is done. As long as I didn't lose more than an inch, I'll be happy I think.
