I'm still oozing a bit from my incision stitches (7 weeks out, oof is clearest and smells sweet) -damn. A few flesh blobs between the stitches look ulcered a bit so called the Dr. about all that...Just waiting for that call back,I Have to go back in and have the reservoir moved next month and thinking about asking if the pump can be cocked at 45 degrees so its not just hanging like a big fishing weight from my right sac. Like the pump to get cradled in some kind of flexible martial in bottom of scrotom- guess thats wishful thinking but would sure feel better. IMG_6498.jpg

Infrapubic approach? Why would a surgeon plant the reservoir where he appears to have on you? I have seen that question asked a number of times here on FT. Mine is buried underneath some abdominal muscles and does not show nor can it be felt......outta sight outta mind. My pump is in the right scrotal sack at roughly a 45 angle. This is implant #1 for me and it seems near perfect location for the pump. After the incision healed some, pumping was close to painless.

Yes He went though the balls, He apologized said it was supposed to be hidden. (it was the first thing I saw after I woke up from surgery) My wife says its creepy and i have not been able to do my sit ups and crunches very well so my gut is getting "round" Gerrrr. I go in on the 25th of May for a correction and they are moving in and putting in the "slim" 100 mil res. I Just want to be over all this surgery stuff and get on with my new life. Still has been worth the hassles -Just want to move on!

Implanted on 4/7/21 so almost 3 weeks post op. Per Dr’s guidance, I began a 3-week cycling regiment one week and a day after surgery when I was cleared for hot baths. After almost 3 weeks post op, following are my observations (valid or invalid as they may be):
  • In 3-5 slow pumps, as full as possible, it seems I am about as firm as I am going to get. I have gone up to 20 pump squeezes, and I think I do not get harder.
  • Hardness is no where close to rock or marble, but it may be firm enough for penetrative sex. I’ll see in a little over a week.
  • On occasion when adding additional pumps, I can hear/feel rushing saline. A previous post mentioned an overinflation valve in the AMS 700 CX. Is this for real? If so, I assume this would be a test for maximum inflation.
  • I have not encountered any pain or even discomfort in my penis when pumping and holding the erection (up to 5 minutes now, and starting 20 minutes in a couple days).

Any thoughts about increasing hardness as the process continues, or should I be concerned?

I also have a CX, and I am surprised that some people can get full erection with 10 or less pumps. Mine is exactly similar to what Lost Sheep described. I can get a rock hard erection with about 40-50 pumps, and can still pump forever without change. Maybe I am not patient enough, and I do not do wall to wall pumps.

I get a 70% (guess) inflation with about 10-15 wall-to-wall pumps. After that, the bulb is very hard and I can only put tiny amounts of pressure in for each very hard pump (barely depresses the bulb). At that point it may be 10-15 more pumps where it feels like the rock-hard bulb is not depressing at all, before I get to sufficient inflation where the small flexion in the middle of the implant is adequately reduced for reliable penetration. I figure I typically stop inflating around 90% or so, maybe 92%. Even though the bulb feels rock hard and it doesn't feel like anymore saline is flowing in during each squeeze, I still get additional lift to my implant and if I go over the 90-92% range where I stop, I will get discomfort in the sides of my penis from stretching (still).

Yesterday, I tried to press the bulb harder, with about 2-3 seconds between pumps. I got to nearly the max at 27 pumps. Although I do not believe there is a measurable (max). Every time I think I am pumping to the max, I later realize that I can still get more pumps that adds more rigidity.
