Merry Christmas.
Hey Merrix, When you got implanted how long did it take till you could start exercising.....like walking, stationary bike, sit-ups , weight lifting?
Hey,
Walking a lot sooner than weight lifting of course.
I honestly don't remember in detail. But the great thing about documenting in detail here on FT is that it works like a log book.
So just go here viewtopic.php?f=6&t=6010
and you will find all that information. And quite a lot more.
My memory, six years down the road, tells me it was probably 3-4 months before I got back at it with some proper weights.
I remember the exercises taking me the longest to get back with was deadlifts (longer than squats for some strange reason) and anything heavy while sitting down. Such as seated dumbell/barbell presses.
Stationary bike is different. That's more about how comfortable you feel sitting down at the seat.
Lifting heavy weights, I think it is quite obvious that you have to be careful.
Lifting heavy puts a lot of pressure on your body. And in your body as well.
Follow your doctors instructions.
