I am now 17 months post revision. Beside using it on weekends for sex, I very seldom do it for stretching. I reached my max around 7 th month and by 9 months I stopped daily pumping.

I lied in my Friday morning post, apparently. After thinking about it I decided to cycle tonight and pumped about two to three minutes, HARD - after reaching the "maximum pressure". Damn am I sore tonight, right in the tips!

Patient satisfaction and penile morphology changes with postoperative penile rehabilitation 2 years after Coloplast Titan prosthesis by Pryor, Carrion, Wang, and Henry:https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5000799/

Abstract
A common complaint after inflatable penile prosthesis surgery is reduced penile length. We previously reported how using the Coloplast Titan inflatable penile prosthesis with aggressive new length measurement technique (NLMT) coupled with postoperative IPP rehabilitation of the implant for 1-year helped to improve patient satisfaction and erectile penile measurements. This is a 2 years follow-up of a prospective, three-center, study of 40 patients who underwent Titan prosthesis placement, with new length measurement technique for erectile dysfunction. Patient instructions were to inflate daily for 6 months and then inflate maximally for 1–2 h daily for 6–24 months. Fifteen penile measurements were taken before and immediately after surgery and at follow-up visits. Measurement changes were improved at 24 months as compared to immediately postoperative and at 12 months. 67.8% of subjects were satisfied with their length at 2 years, and 77% had perceived penile length that was longer (30.8%) or the same (46.2%) as prior to the surgery. 64.3% and 17.9% of subjects had increased and unchanged satisfaction, respectively, with penile length as compared to prior to penile implant surgery. All but one subject (96.5%) was satisfied with the overall function of his implant. This study suggests using the Coloplast Titan with aggressive cylinder sizing, and a postoperative penile rehabilitation inflation protocol can optimize patient satisfaction and erectile penile measurements at 2 years postimplant.

Happy penile growth!

And there are even hard (haha) numbers to go with it. Average length increase of the shaft using bone-pressed measuring was .79cm, with a plus-minus of 1.51cm. If I'm interpreting that correctly, someone in the study had .79cm + 1.51cm = 2.30cm of growth in months 12-24.

I think the only possible takeaway from this study is that if increased size is your goal, you should absolutely keep pumping. .79cm / 12 is 0.066cm per month. Even the big grower at 2.30cm averaged 0.19cm per month. I think the "I stopped pumping when I stopped growing" crowd are throwing in the towel a little early, because how can you really know that you stopped growing when that growth is undetectable on a monthly basis? But over the year the big grower added almost an inch!

Could you keep growing after 24 months? Probably. The common factor that is often thought to limit growth (surgical capsule forming around implant) is fully in place by month 12 (and much sooner, I've heard month 3), so if that is clearly not preventing growth in 12-24 months then what's to stop growth in 24-36 months? I imagine the cylinders stretch some over time, but even then there's probably a limit to growth when you size out of the implant. Which means you'll be in a good position to continue when you eventually have your replacement surgery and are probably good for the next size up in models.

This is a very encouraging study. Losing pre-surgery size is a concern for many of us contemplating implants. I agree it is better to be smaller and hard instead of big and limp. My wife also enjoys my larger size so she was happy to hear my summary of this study. Have you had success with continued cycling?

I have read the study and also read many threads on titan pumping. I'm a little confused at 9 months I can only get maybe 21 pumps to fully erect and throbing and that's using 2 hands I'm not as strong as I once was but I still have a good grip! Typically for sex I pump maybe 15 to 18 half to three quarter pumps. I rarely get a full solidly compressed pump. Has anyone else have the same experience?
