Test driving a Coloplast Malleable 1 piece
Re: Test driving a Coloplast Malleable 1 piece
I read a lot of your posts about your experiences. Great info! I won’t know how I truly feel until I put it into action. I’d love not going back through it a third time. I take it you’re happier with the New three piece?

I'll be following your thread closely. My titan just failed after 2 years 2 months, likely a pump or tubing failure. My revision is scheduled a month for now. I'm currently waiting for the warranty and insurance paperwork to finalize.
I liked the Titan very much, but the initial surgery recovery was very painfull and it took me a good month to resume work and most normal activities, including walking.
The whole process from failure to being healed enough to resume sexual activities will take roughly 2-3 months and beyond being simply time consuming and having me and my partner abstain from sex for this entire duration, it'll also put alot of physical, financial, personal and professional strain on myself and on my current relationship.
This premature revision has made me extremely concerned, and I'm heavily considering a malleable now. Perhaps I'll give IPP one more shot, but I feel certain that after this revision, if I have another premature failure, I'll definitely skip and try a malleable instead.
The mains negatives in my view of the malleable vs the inflatable are less girth (compared to a Titan) and the stowage considerations during normal life. For the girth aspect, I'm researching the possibility of enhancing girth with hyaluronic acid, my doctor does this procedure as well. The second is more concerning.
The mains negatives of the IPP are simply the many modes of failure and the negatives associated with early revisions (as mentioned above) and also, for single/young males, having a palpable pump and tubing is a huge negative. Given the option, I'd love to have my scrotum free from any foreign material.

Re: Test driving a Coloplast Malleable 1 piece
Nah, I had to go back because of an infection, so my case is different. Yours sounds like you are doing well, so let's just move forward. Nothing is bad.
You should be able to test drive in a couple weeks.
My 3rd surgery was 'optional'. Surgeon put in malleable to keep everything from caving in after all was scraped out. Like I said, I wanted the 3-piece back in because the malleable was driving me crazy, despite being able to play.
You should be good.
Let us know how things progress.

I just read your thread with interest. I think you just wore yours out lol. I really enjoyed the titan until the infection. It worked great. I wasn’t fond of the squeaky noise when I inflated it. One gf loved it though. She thought it was cute. The other seemed nonplussed but it was a minor annoyance. I am at 7 inches with trimix and kept 6.8 or so with the titan. Girth was mostly maintained. I’m confident I would have at least gone back to my normal size. Inflation was painful in my shaft. I never had scrotum pain until the infection set in.
Overall, the pain recovering from the titan was manageable with tramadol and ibuprofen. It would get up to around six or so and when I pumped to max it would hit maybe a seven at the beginning. Sex the first couple of times was painful especially when I thrust deep the tips really hurt.
I’m only on day three with a malleable and I have literally zero pain. I’m still on tramadol and ibuprofen and I’m icing religiously, but there is maybe a one pain wise every once in a while. everything is still swollen moderately but again there’s no pain. My titan was done infrapubic but the malleable was penoscrotal. I was in so much pain prior to the revision due to the infection that I have no idea what the measurements are on the Genesis unit he used. We did the surgery with the understanding that in three months we’re gonna go back to the titan, and never discussed me keeping the malleable, but I am going to give this a really good chance and then possibly stay with it. I did a measurement because, let’s face it, that’s all we’re concerned about and it looks like I lost a little bit of length but the girth looks good. I’m right at 6.3 and I don’t know if that changes in anyway or if when the swelling goes down it’ll change , I guess the initial test drives in a couple of weeks with the girls I’m currently with will tell me where I’m gonna go with it I like the idea of just flipping it up and going to it instead of pumping 20 or 30 times, but to be honest, I kept it at least partially inflated almost all the time anyway because I’m kind of vain like that. I blame it on being a grower my whole life and it’s nice to be a shower for once. I go back in for drain removal on Monday and for him to show me how to tuvk this thing away. I’ll be able to report more on what it’s like to hide it because I have no idea what it’s gonna look like in the down position, I’m pretty happy with anything over 6 inches. someone told me 6 inches is like the “c” cup of breasts and I’m OK with that but if I can get that extra half to full inch back I’m not gonna complain.
Time will tell if I go through this procedure again or not but the fact that I’m in absolutely zero paying right now is a pretty good selling point as is and I have no worry about a pump failure and I don’t know if I’ve mentioned this before but I have literally zero pain

I really hope you keep up with your journal because im very interested to see how it all plays out. I dont understand how a maleable could be rigid enough for aggressive sex or how someone can keep their size, especially their girth with one. Time will tell, Im sure im not the only one that will follow your journal with interest

I hope everything goes well for you, cheers

Unfortunately, girth is something that is not synonymous with the malleable. Since they are just rods that are bent to use or put away, no in between, girth is something that the rods don't have.
Length, that can be worked with, girth, not so much.

Now that I’m three days in and “unwrapped” as the bandages didn’t hold up well, I can see that size was somewhat effected. Girth is definitely lessened and I’d say I lost a half inch or so in length. There is some swelling so I don’t want to give numbers for sure yet.
The rigidity is definitely there. I’m not supposed to manipulate it down yet, but I did try to bend it a bit and there was no give. I don’t see a future issue with rigidity at all but time will tell. My main goal is to try this out and give it an honest chance. There are advantages to this device, but having the titan previously I can say it was definitely longer and had more girth.
That being said, I’d rather have a working smaller dick than a floppy larger one and I’d take anything over the previous infection situation.

Why can't they offer these things in bigger girth? There are many guys out there that can accommodate it due to having had a Titan or other implant before and their cavernosa's are stretched out nicely, wish they could offer sizes such as 15 mm up to 20 mm. Might see more takers for the malleables if they did
50 yrs old. E.D. issues started around age 35, combo venous leak/testicular failure. Bilateral testicular implants for severely atrophic testes. Implanted 6/11/20 Dr. Kramer LGX 21cm + 1.
Re: Test driving a Coloplast Malleable 1 piece
I can tell you for sure I stretched the hell out of mine. I would get in a really hot bathtub and crank that thing down and then do the stretching exercises and got two or three more pumps in there I just sat in the bathtub and took the pain. I didn’t have it long enough to really notice much of a growth difference, but I definitely didn’t lose much from my natural erections when I had them. I have nothing but great things to say about the Titan. It wasn’t a device’s fault that I got an infection. I’m not sure why they don’t make huge cylinders for the malleable and I wonder if there’s an issue with erosion? That’s one of the questions on ask the doc when I go in on Monday. I’m working on a list of questions now. A lot of what I find out I’ll document here and then come up with my final decision on going back or staying with this. ultimately the most important thing is just to be able to have sex of course, I would love to have sex with a bigger penis, but being able to have sex for as long as I want even with a slightly smaller penis is very appealing. I also wonder what they’re going to have in 10 years.
