Here's wishing you a prompt and uneventful recovery.
A few questions:
1) What type of implant did you get -- infrapublic or penoscrotal?
2) Which brand of implant did you get -- Boston Scientific AMS 700 or Coloplast Titan Touch (or Classic)?
3) Who was your surgeon and how many implants does s/he typically do in a month?
4) Was the surgery paid for under Kaiser's standard HMO coverage or under Medicare (Senior Advantage)?
This info will help others asssess your experience and may be useful to others who are eligible to get an implant at Kaiser in Fontana.
Thanks!

Glubzzz,
Congratulations! You are going to love it! I am about 5 1/2 months out of surgery and if you haven't heard it before, it will just get better and better and better!
The sex is fantastic! What more could you want?
Yes, you learned your lesson on the pain, you have to stay ahead of it by taking the pain pills ON SCHEDULE, don't want for the pain to start. My recommendation is use the pain pills for 3 days. I like you, were going to stop the pain pills after two days and it was too soon, play it safe, stay on them for 3 days. The reason is the nerve blocks they use in surgery start wearing off. My doctor prescribed some stool softener if needed, but I never had to use it.
I was told you can take the pain pills as needed, but you are limited to 3,000mg of Tylenol a day, 1,000mg each 8 hours, to take it more often can cause damage. In the hospital they had me alternating between pain pills and 1,000mg Tylenol, each at four hour intervals. I never had any pain other than a taste of it the morning of the third day, but I fixed that.
I am in SoCal also, best of luck.

How unfortunate. Normally FT is an oasis of support. Wish i knew what this is about.
Active, athletic 63 years old. Sexually, still 33 in my mind and spirit. Pills and injections all worked, until they didn’t. Diagnosed with veinous leakage in 2022. Coloplast Titan. 22 CM. No RTE. Peno-scrotal. Implanted 1/4/23. Dr. Clavell.

Sorry to lose you so soon.
FWIW, you can just BLOCK (list as a "FOE) any "dick" (as in a$$shole or person you just don't want to deal with) that you encounter on FT.
Life is better everywhere on the Net (not just here on FT) when you do that.
