Should I move forward with getting the implant?

Willy,

The bottom line is, if getting an implant is the only way you can have penetration or penetration without further damage to your dick, then get an implant.

An implant is there for when nothing else works to your satisfaction. Only you can decide if other methods are satisfactory for you or not.

If you need an implant to have penetration then don't fear it, you will be able to have normal sex after getting an implant. Yes, you are young for getting an implant, but if you don't get an implant, you are wasting your time and lots of sexual satisfaction. If you continue to wait after everything else fails I can guarantee you that you will be one of the many members here who says, I should have done it sooner.

The condition of your dick can only get worse the longer you delay.

However, you need to a have realistic expectation about what the implant will do. It probably will not immediately fix the problems that you mention BUT it will give you a hard dick again. No doubt about that.

As for the hour glass, Perito says that he can do urofill on an implanted patient. Not sure if it can be done at the same time but that may also be an option.

The problem w/Perito is that he charges more and that he may not actually being the one doing your surgery because of all of the visiting firemen that he gets in his shop.

But if you want an implant and urofill, he's the one to at least contact 1st to discuss it.

So, get off your butt and get to it!!! ;)

Hahah sswinsfba your post made me laugh I need to get off my butt it's just the wait time for appointments with the big guns like Hakky/eid and others is so long. I got my first appointment with Hakky in 10 days excited to finally get the ball rolling. I think I would have Hakky do the urofill instead of also having to go to Miami in addition to Atlanta would be best if they can do both at the same time I think I read they can but I do not know.

I understand where you are coming from.

I’m really maxed out on my injection concentration of BiMix + Atropine. (Prostaglandins made me ache too much to enjoy sex). The compounding pharmacy said my mix is as strong as they can make it. I’m at 50 units per shot. If I take more I don’t get greater effect.

So with 50u of my current mix AND wearing a good cockring I’m firm enough for sex. But there are certainly people in my position that have already been implanted. And it’s common to hear implanted guys say, “I wish I had done this sooner.”

Like you, I ask myself “is now the time??”

I’m talking with implanted guys about their decision making process. How did they know it was time? What was the thing that convinced them. And in the meantime I continue to talk with my doc to see if anything can be done to fine tune my mix or meds that can be added to give it a boost.
55yo, NYC. ED started at 40. 50 units BiMix + Atropine (Pap 30/Phen 6/Atr 0.2). Prostaglandins caused aching. Doses increasing. A cock ring helps. Phallosan Forte tension devise to maintain size. Eager to talk about implant experiences.

Exactly GoodWood. I have been in similar positions to mine before and my dick has healed which is what causes me doubt about this decision but now it's been 3 months and I am just tired of this. I am single at the moment and lacking confidence ever since this happened I want it back. As men, I think we are problem solvers not let's wait and see people.

I don't really know AmansinCali. I am a single guy at the moment so I don't have a large sample size but my last two sexual encounters with two different women I did not get fully hard. The last one actually seemed to do more damage. This has lowered my confidence so I am not really trying hard to date although I still am getting dates with minimal effort which seems to make them more interested lol. My best indicator is my erections during masterbation which are:

1) Less sensitive to orgasm
2) Slightly painful
3) about 90% firm at best
$) Fade faster than normal without stimulation

Willy- no one but you can make that decision. Are your future plans to get married? Have children? Or at least be in a long-term relationship full of love & sex? If you are then you're wasting time NOT getting it done.
Quit thinking of every possible thing that may happen. Just like walking out the door every morning, we never know what might happen by nighttime. That's life and we just need to be happy with what is handed to us.
